October 24, 2025HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERHe is a nice guy and seems to know a lot about the field. I would guess he is a good surgeon. But the visit was rushed and rather uncomfortable. The resident I saw before he came into the room was awful.

December 18, 2024UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICSIt's only the beginning stages of this health saga, but thus far, I'm very heartened by the careful, thorough, thoughtful care extended to me. I no longer feel either "abandoned to (understandable) long waits in an Emergency Room" or the need to make decisions on my own in areas where I'm not an expert and sincerely need help. I am very grateful to Dr. Pickron and his kind staff.
October 20, 2024HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Pickron shows no compassion or empathy towards me and my condition. If you have T had any experience with the diagnosis, it would be very thoughtful if he would take a few minutes and explain the diagnosis and everything associated with it. This is very emotionally traumatic and I expected much more. I would not recommend him if asked.

April 29, 2024HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Pickron is extremely knowledgeable. He is able to help us understand what was going on with our disabled child. He talked with us about all of the possible directions he/we could go and then provided us with his recommendations and why he was making the specific recommendations. He reviewed the process in detail as well as what we would learn from upcoming procedures and how that would help him provide us the best guide forward. His knowledge and years of experience helped us to know we were in the right place and that our child would receive the proper care. It was amazing how he took into account everything about our son, his needs, his medical records and made his recommendation. He was able to answer all of our questions and provided us information and a team that we could reach out to at any time. We know that this is a difficult time in our sons life but that we have the best help and support possible.
