Dr. Ostrander received her medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, completed her Pediatric residency at RUSH Medical Center and her Pediatric Neurology training at the University of Utah. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Ostrander is director of the Fetal and Neonatal Neurology Program. She focuses on the neurological care of infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with seizures, strokes, brain malformations, hydrocephalus and other neurological issues. She is also Medical Director of the Neonatal Follow-up program at University of Utah and the director of the Intermountain Healthcare NeuroNICU program which provides neonatal neurology support to level II and III NICUs throughout the intermountain west.
