She is a great listener and respects me as a trans person. Our decisions are always collaborbative and I feel like an equal. I could not give her and her team a higher recommendation.
Briana Mello PA-C never belittles my concerns, she makes me feel heard, always offering multiple different avenues which I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. As a woman, not everything is anxiety and she gets that. While I do have anxiety, itÕs now well managed with her and my therapist, but symptoms I had before that were concerning still remain. She is willing to look further into it and not dismiss any of my concerns as anxiety like so many do in healthcare towards women. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that, more than words can convey. I respect her highly and I tell anyone looking for a PCP to consider her.

PA Mello has in every case made treatment decisions that have been effective. For one condition she recommended discontinuing a medication and in other adding a medication. She is the best primary care provider I have ever had! Why, because she listens to me and wants to do the best thing for me.
In spite of the extra travel time (like 30 more minutes each way), I'm strongly considering asking Brianna to take over my Gender Affirming Care needs. It is clear to me that she has a genuine interest in patient care and a deep understanding of what someone like myself is going through. Anyone that receives routine care Frome Brianna is indeed fortunate.

Being a family practice provider is no small feat but Bri makes it look easy. I'm sure she's got a million things to do in her day but when she's in the room with a patient, there's no sense of rush or distraction. She's present, compassionate, and a great listener. Brianna started by asking my how she could help me today. I felt listened to and heard. I felt like Brianna cares. I know medicine is hard and there are tons of patients to see, but if Brianna treats everyone as she did me, she will be booked solid forever because everyone will want to continue to go to her for their needs, no one will ever want to change primary health care providers. On Saturday when I seen her she was very happy excited to see me we communicated well she was taking notes yet she never followed through with what I requested to have no later than Monday evening she said she'd have it to me Saturday I never got it it needed to come via email because I do not have a computer and I still have not seen it and it's Monday evening it was supposed to be sent to my email a detailed letter of my mobility what I can lift sit stand all that in a letter and like I said I still not yet got it
I often feel in medical settings, particularly as a woman, I am not listened to or heard. Brianna always makes me feel like what I say is important, matters, and she listens. This, in my opinion, can be a rare experience in health care settings. She obviously cares about her patients and I always enjoy my visits with her. She's a gem!
