Caitlin Phillips, MD (she/they) cares for children from the ages of newborn through teenager at the University of Utah Pediatrics Clinic. Caitlin first came to Utah in August of 2020 for medical school at the University of Utah and graduated in 2024. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in East Asian Languages and Civilizations specializing in China in 2014 and completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. The six years between undergrad and medical school were spent working as a clinical research coordinator in Chicago and Philadelphia on studies whose topics ranged from quality of care to kidney transplantation. Their clinical interests include health care equality, mental health, preventative care, culinary medicine, and working with urban underserved populations. Outside the hospital, Caitlin can be found trying new recipes, doing pub trivia, listening to podcasts, and exploring the mountains.
