Professional Experience
Carine has a wide array of clinical experience ranging from primary care and internal medicine to pediatric gastroenterology and surgical care. As a member of the bariatric and foregut surgical team, she assists in the operating room, manages inpatient care, and provides follow-up care in the outpatient setting. She collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, including ordering and evaluating labs, monitoring weight loss, and identifying nutritional needs to optimize patient outcomes.
Education and Training
Carine completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Utah before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. Following her graduate education, she moved to New York and worked at NYU Langone. After several years, she returned to the Mountain West.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Carine is a Utah native who enjoys spending time with her family and friends and pursuing her interests, including tennis, volleyball, cheering on the Utah Mammoth, walking her dog, cooking, and traveling.
