  • After helping start a non-profit children’s foundation in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Carlee Lenehan attended medical school at Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic. She finished Pediatric residency at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, and then completed PEM fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

    Dr. Lenehan's research interests currently are focused on simulation education, curriculum development, and outreach both locally and globally. As a global health fellow, she is currently focusing on local simulation education and curriculum development for the first PEM fellowship in Rwanda, Africa.

    Dr. Lenehan has also initiated a randomized control trial looking at treating migraine headaches in pediatric patients with intranasal ketorolac. This study is currently ongoing.
