I've had very little contact with Dr. Peters, so it's hard to judge his interest and attitudes, but since he's part of this very excellent care team, I'd have to say that he cares a great deal.
He explained things well in a way I could understand. He also listened to my needs and shared his opinion with me.
He was very helpful and honest
He understood my concerns and took every one of my concerns into consideration when making the proper diagnosis into what was wrong. He also explained everything in a way that I could understand. He didn't just use medical terminology because as a person that is not medically inclined, I do not understand medical terms. He dummified it as you would say. So I could understand and that made me feel like he understood where I was coming from. He even spoke loud enough and clear. So that my wife, who is deaf, I could even understand what was going on.
Dr. Peters is definitely at the top of his game. Confident & kind.
Dr. Peters was very explicit in his directions and understood that I knew anatomical terms, so he didn't talk down to me. Our discussion seemed very collegial.
Dr. Peters is an excellent surgeon and very knowledgeable physician.
My first knee replacement, changed my life! All for the better.
Dr. Peters is fantastic at what he has done for me . I always sing his praises to others for his skill in my outcome.
One of the very best in the nation.
I did not feel like Dr. Peters listened to my concerns as a patient at all. He did not view my medical records or imaging I sent way ahead of time. He made me feel like it was a waste that I was there and I did not feel respected or heard.
Highly recommend him. He's doing my other knee in 3 months.
did an awesome job on my knees
Skilled and compassionate Encouragement and text support was great
Very receptive and confident that surgery will be good.
Even after 10 years, he cares about how I am doing, evaluated my injury, and gave me a course of action to follow. I have and will continue to send people to see him to resolve their knee issues. Thank you Dr. Peters for caring.
Great Doctor, I highly recommend him to anyone needing knee replacement surgery
Great doctor, very knowledgeable and helpful
Dr. Peters has replaced both my hips, and is the physician I will go to without reservation if I also need a knee replacement. He is clear about his communication, and gives you the full story while making space for your input.
He is a great surgeon, which is why I'm having him do my other knee.
Dr. Peters is a great surgeon and extremely knowledgeable and supportive.
For me he is a very special doctor, and I recommend him with great confidence. [TRANSLATED]

He was very nice and informative.
He is very good, a great listener and recommends only the best.
Dr peters has always been available and caring during my recovery with my knee replacement. It's taken me a while to get back to normal, but everyone heals differently. I trust Dr Peters and his staff.
He is a great doctor.
In the spring of 2021, Dr. Peters performed my right knee replacement (total knee arthroplasty) my experience with Dr. Peters and his team was outstanding. Now in the summer of 2025, I am preparing for left knee replacement. In my recent appointment, Dr. Peters, was able to clearly and in great detail answer my many questions, and made sure that I understood all of the options available to me as his patient. I have complete confidence in him and his professional team.
See previous comments.
expert surgeon, talented and highly experienced with the procedure and implant; highly recommended for anterior hip replacement.
Excellent surgeon and also a kind bedside manner.
He knows what he is doing, the first Dr. did not. I will go back to Dr. Peters every time now. I follow what he says to do and when to do it. I have good results in following his councils.
Dr. Peters is very respectful of my concerns and my needs. He explains things well. I felt at each step that he was taking excellent care of me. I am a retired nurse practitioners, therefore very picky about health care professionals. I always felt Dr. Peters went the extra mile for me.
Very Professional in every way Very good bedside manner.
Dr. Peters is one of several elite ortho Drs in Utah. Highest praise for his A +++++ work.

Highly recommend without reservation

Dr. Peters is wonderful. You can tell that he cares about his patients. He did my hip replacement in 2019 and I am so glad he is doing my knee replacement. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a caring, knowledgeable and friendly provider.
I felt that he cared and was very professional
Dr. Peters has given me my life back! I can't thank him and all who took care of me , I am so grateful. My experience was amazing.
HeÕs an excellent orthopedist and skilled surgeon! In my opinion, heÕs the best there is!!!
Dr. Peters has marvelous bedside etiquette. He is professional and caring.
This was my first encounter with Dr. Peters although I have seen other providers in this same clinic at various times in my life. He was highly recommended by the staff. I will have more information to assess him following my surgery.
Dr. Peters is an excellent surgeon. He is extremely knowledgeable and listens carefully to his patients.
Excellent Surgeon
The best. First class professional.
Very knowledgeable and easy to understand.
Dr. Peters exhibited his great experience by suggesting causes for my pain that no other doctor even brought up. His analysis generates great confidence in a positive outcome for my issues.
I am so glad I chose Dr. Chris Peters for my knee replacement. University of Utah hospital accommodates all their patients needs.
Dr. Peters has excellent bedside manners. He listens and takes into account questions, concerns, and surgical issues. He did both of my knees and my husband's knees. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and our ability to to the things we love - hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and fly fishing.
Caring, kind, compassionate and concerned.
Excellent bedside manner and spent lots of time explaining the procedure and answering questions.
Top tier care
Outstanding!
I will go back to him if needed.
Dr. Peters is awesome!!
He is the greatest
Great!
Dr. Peters replaced both my hips due to hip dysplasia. I had excellent orientation to what would take place and instructions on post op care. He is very efficient, caring and makes sure you know about your treatment. My hips are great and I appreciate his help in getting me to that place of no pain.
Thank you for your referral. I am curious as to why your office sent me a text requesting I make an appointment. Is this your policy after ten years since surgery? I appreciate your counsel.
Dr. Peters is an outstanding surgeon. He and his team have set up a remarkable total joint replacement program.
Friendly and attentive
The best there is.
Professional and friendly.
Dr Peters is very caring and listens well. I've been under his care since Nov and am very happy with him and his team.
Dr. Peters is a skilled and very knowledgeable Orthopedic Surgeon who provides excellent care to his patients
I appreciate Dr. Peters very much. He is very willing to take the time to evaluate and give understandable explanations and options for treatment and positive outcomes.
Thank you!
His dry sense of humor was off putting to my husband.
Dr. Peter's is extremely knowledgable and a very skilled surgeon. My hip replacement and follow-up care by Dr. Peters and his team has been excellent. My recovery has been much easier and faster than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Dr. Peters and I am a Registered Nurse and am extremely cautious and picky about the providers I choose for my care.
When time comes for a knee replacement this is the person to see. This is my second knee replacement
He is a quiet man, but listens well and is very competent.
Dr. Peters is a "gem"! He's thorough and explains everything well.
This was the third major joint replaced by Dr. Peters for me. Each one went extremely well which is why I would have no other surgeon.
Excellent orthopedic joint surgeon. Thoughtful, careful and kind. Thank you.
Even though Dr. Peters was one hour behind, he was kind and caring when we met.
Dr Peters seemed genuinely caring about my situation. I have complete confidence in him and the decisions made for my care and procedure.
Great
Arrogant with poor bedside manner. I felt like he was bothered to see me and that I was intruding on his day as I sought for help. He questioned why I even was in his office. When I had called the orthopedic department at the U looking for a doctor to help me with my hip issues, the receptionist had me set an appointment with Dr. Peters. But Dr. Peters doesn't even treat FAI¿ I was at the wrong doctor and Dr. Peters let me know it. By the end of the exam he seemed to soften a bit and ordered an MRI and said he would try to get me to the right doctors.
He is very experienced. Everyone I have talked to had glowing comments so I felt comfortable with him.
Very reassuring, and pleasant.
Very professional and had my confidence to provide proper care. Dr. Peters was well recommended to me.
Amazing surgeon. So grateful we found him.
Have had a hip and knee replacement from Dr. Peters. He and his staff took very good care of me.
Dr. Peters is extremely knowledgeable and listens carefully to his patients.
I feel very confident in his knowledge and skills as a surgeon.
Dr. Peters and his entire team were wonderful. I felt they were honest with me in a way that made me feel like I could make the best decision...understanding the risks involved. They listened and were kind and optimistic.
minimal explanations - no discussion if sports medicine or PT could alleviate the pain; only surgery options presented
It was great to discuss my knee revision with Dr. Peters. I feel he understood and listened to my concerns. I have a lot of confidence in his expertise.
Dr Peters replaced both my wife's knees and she is happy with the new knee replacements.
Great & caring person
This was the first time that I had met the Doctor. He was friendly, patient with my questions and willing to explain information. I could tell he was well versed in his field.
Since 1996 I have had the best care and treatment by Dr. C. Peters and staff.
Dr. Peters and his staff were thorough, made me fell comfortable and explained what was needed to fix my knee problem. Would recommend them to anyone.
He is a great Orthopaedic doctor!
A very good Doctor
Don't make assumptions about a person based on your biases toward overweight people. We are not all diabetic or have high blood pressure. We don't all overeat. Some of use barely eat anything. Our weight is not always based on overeating or being lazy. The worst thing you can do is to assume that it is and roll your eyes at us when you hear our story. Spend more time really listening and understanding us as a worthy patient.
Very Professional and a Master of his Craft !!
I didn't feel Dr Peters had good bedside manner or was very empathetic. I didn't feel he appreciated or cared about my patient experience. I personally wouldn't seek care from him if the situation with your joint isn't completely straightforward or textbook.
Dr. Peters was supportive and helpful and my overall experience has been wonderful. Surgery went well and recovery has been straight forward with all the help offered by his support staff.
He listened and explained.
Dr Peter's realizes your concerns and acts accordingly in a positive way. He does not assume you know what he knows which is helpful to a patient who may be anxious about their situation and in pain. He has a good sense of humor, which also benefits the patient.
Dr. Peters is a very understanding person to talk to. He will explain everything clearly to you, on needs to done.
I am a return customer with Dr. Peters. I had my left knee replaced about 7 years ago and the experience was good so I decided to come back to Dr. Peters for my right knee.
Dr. Peters is an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him for knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Peters treated me with respect and listened to my concerns.
I have had excellent results with 2 knee replacements done by Dr. Peters. My outcomes were exceptional - back to doing all the things that I want to be doing - hiking, horseback riding, traveling.
Each of Dr. Peters' staff - from the nurses to the therapists to the fellow - is extremely competent, professional, and personable. They are always available and responsive and the text message program is really a great feature - an appropriate and motivating message always seems to appear at just the right time! And last but certainly not least, both of my hips are doing great!
Felt far from a personal interaction. Didn't feel invested in what I shared, just a quick answer and told what to do.
He is an excellent surgeon and communicates very well. I trust him to do exactly what I need and want, and I received excellent results from the procedure.
He's a great Dr
Dr Peters is great and I would recommend him to anyone.
He is a professional, and in 4 years he has replaced 2 knees and a hip. Been impressed with the surgeries and recovery.
Dr. Peters is a fabulous doctor and surgeon. My mom has been to him, as have I--both of us for knee replacements. He has deep expertise and a kind beside manner. I would not go to anyone else!
I very confident I will receive very expert and professional care
Dr. Peters has had tremendous impact on the quality of my health and life. I don't know what my life would be without him. His pioneering efforts with regards to the pelvic bone transplant he performed on me years ago has given me a much richer and fuller life. I continue to walk, play golf and travel as much as I want. I am truly blessed to have him as my orthopedic surgeon. It is my sincere hope that the University of Utah Medical Center appreciates him as much as I do. My visits are every two years to ensure my hips are stable. He is extremely courteous and compassionate towards me and my family. God Bless you Dr. Peters!
I am recovering well from my second knee joint replacement and am relieved that I made the choice to move forward and that the recovery period is now well underway. I am working hard at building back my strength and confidence with my state of the art knee joints. I highly recommend Dr Peters and his team. Surgery such as this a big decision and I felt well supported throughout the process with daily strea.md texts of advice and encouragement post surgery and easy access to professional support when I needed it. I make use of the Physical Therapy advice which is simple (but not always easy to keep up). I feel that h the team are cheering me on and I am looking forward to the future.
I trusted Christopher Peters MD completely. He made me feel less nerious about the procedure that I was about to have. He was very kind and easy to talk too.
Great surgeon. He is more optimistic than I am right now so I'm choosing to trust him.
In my opinion Dr. Peters is one of the best in his field. I was referred by a friend who he had corrected a botched surgery for by a different doctor. He also did my brother in laws knee replacements. Very knowledgeable, listens to you and truly wants to help you improve your quality of life. I definitely recommend him!
Dr Peters is a fabulous surgeon who listens to patients needs, answers questions and explains procedures thoroughly. Great team equals great results!
Excellent Doctor and I would highly recommend him for knee and hip surgery or any health issues with knees and hips!
Great surgeon. I feel most comfortable in his care.
Excellent, caring doctor. Never is in a hurry, always makes you feel comfortable and leaves you only after all your questions have been answered and you understand his analysis and future engagements.
Wonderful job on the surgery and care.
Dr Peters is the best
Dr. Peters is very good!
I am so happy and confident that Dr. Peters will be my surgeon for my hip operation. He is a class act.
Doctor Peters is very knowledgeable, professional and though I haven't had my surgery yet, I feel very confident in him after my pre op visit.
Professional, knowledgeable, excellent surgeon, love the daily text, excellent support staff
He was very good and listened to what I had to say and then counsel with what was best for me!!
Thank you Dr. Peters!
Incredibly efficient and effective staff, and Dr Peters is great at explaining possibilities with a calm and easy delivery
He really cares about his patients. He replaced my knee 6 years ago and remembered me and was able to get me in sooner for my hip replacement. Very happy with Dr. Peters.
My first time meeting Dr Peters. He has a good reputation. He seems confident that we can replace the knee despite a lot of complications with that leg.
Excellent surgeon.
Excellent surgeon and a pleasure to work with. The results of my hip replacement have been outstanding. I would recommend him to any of my friends. Thanks!
Excellent in all areas from surgery to the bedside!
Proficient, and concerned
He's a good Dr. very open, informative and kind.
Personable knows what he is doing. Tries to meet the needs of the patient
Please see my previous comment; Dr. Peters and his staff were wonderful. I appreciate their support, validation, and patience while receiving all of the information regarding my injury/discomfort/pain. They all spent adequate, and honestly more time than they needed to reassure me that I do not need to undergo a serious, invasive procedure, and provided confidence and reassurance that another provider I had already seen will be able to provide efficient and effective treatment going forward.
Dr. peters is a very professional person but at the same time he is very kind he's very caring and you know he has your back. He is looking at your best interest and I have always felt like he sincerely cared about me and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. He is an amazing doctor. Thank you so much.
Didn't see Dr Peters saw Adam Taylor. He was excellent! Very pleased great bedside manner!!!
He came in told how it is , listened to all my thoughts told me what is needed out of me so I can prepare for this by shit
Dr. Peter's generates trust because of his knowledge. He answers my questions with care and kindness.
He took time to discuss my condition, helped me understand my options and schedule the most convenient date for my surgery. He is personable and has a sense of humor, which I appreciated. He came highly recommended by colleagues.
He is the best. Very professional & caring at the same time. I would definitely us him again ( but I hope I don't have to!)
Amazing. Smart, compassionate and professional. Simply superb.
He is very nice and caring.
Dr. Peters is my favorite phhysician. He is competent, educated, highly empathic, wonderful social skills, a great teacher, a superb surgeon and supervisor of residents ( my son was educated by him)
Dr. Peters is always patient and thorough.
Dr. Peters was recommended to give an opinion about my hip replacement and he was apathetic, scornful and didn't take the time to review my prior care, my case or participate in helping me. Even worse, he was teaching this abhorrent behavior to future physicians. Complex cases should travel elsewhere where to find competence and empathy.
I love and trust D. Peters that is why I travel to SLC for treatment
Very professional and accessible.
Dr. Peters totally took care of my orthopedic needs in a professional, thoughtful, and decisive manner. He is the consummate professional!
Calm and professional demeanor. Felt very comfortable discussing my hip issues with him. Trust his expertise.
Dr. Peters does joint replacement. Beyond that, do not expect anything in the way of post-operative care. If your replacement recovery is easy, you will probably be fine. If there are complications or difficulties in recovery you will be very disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of communication and care. Had I known this prior to surgery, I would have made different decisions and gone elsewhere for treatment.
This was my second knee replacement that Dr. Peters has done. He has done exceptional work on both knees and always answered every question that I've had. The best way I can tell you about him is I have sent nine other patients to him for knee replacements
He is very friendly and is always familiar with me and my care so I don't have to repeat things
Dr. Peters is amazing, He did knee replacements for both of my husbands knees, and now I need knee replacement surgery. I wouldnt have chosen anyone else but him!
I very much like and appreciate him and his expertise!
He took the time to listen to my concerns and didn't dismiss me. He cared about what I had to say
Dr. Peters explained my conditions very well and provided options to my care
You won't do better. Excellent cuts very little pain(3surgeries)
Was highly recommended by my local doctor. He seemed to be very competent and concerned throughout the process.
I posted them in last paragraph. He is not good in anyway. No bedside manners. Could not give me other options. I told him that he sounds like he doesnt do anything but put people down. I was not there for pain meds like most Drs think. I have to go to pain management because of all my injuries and leg amputation.
He listened to me and addressed my concerns.
Again this is the joint academy class not Dr. Peters directly.
I have recommended Dr. Peters to several people (who took my advice) because I totally trust him and trust him with my friends and family as well
Dr. Peters is great.
Dr Peters is an excellent surgeon. Im recovering faster than my husband did when he had the same surgery.
Remembering my R hip replacement by Dr. Peters eight years ago, I had nothing but good reasons to choose Dr. Peters for my L hip replacement, Im glad I did again.
thank you very much Dr. Peters. While i will worry about the operation i feel i am in the best hands i could be.
Extremely helpful- thank you
He listened to my concerns and explained things very well
I have known Dr. Peters since 2016 when he performed knee replacement surgery on my right knee. Since that time he performed the same surgery on my wife's knee and I am scheduled for knee replacement surgery on my left knee. Obviously, we are very pleased with Dr. Peters as both a surgeon and as a person. He can be very serious and direct but also warm and friendly.
Seemed a little busy but overall Im very happy and looking forward to Dr. Peters taking care of me.
Interviewed 4 surgeons prior to choosing Dr Peters and U of U. I am a very active person and I am pleased with outcome. I play tennis, ski, golf and cycle
Excellent
He is an excellent doctor!
Very knowledgeable, and professional.
Very business like but willing to address my concerns. He has done a lot of this procedure with a good track record and inspired my confidence.
It was a first visit so didn't spend much time with him but glad he has done many hip replacement surgeries as I want to ensure I am very active heading into my 60s
He was very caring.
He was easy to talk to I trust he will do a good job
The exam was fairly brief. He told me what i already knew. I would like to have discussed the second knee replacement but it did not seem appropriate.
I have need to get both knees replaced for 20 years. I am so very excited that next month (March) the first one will finally happen. I am doing everything that the doctors and the physical therapist except from me to make it a very good outcome! I want them all to know just how greatfull I am for all their help! Thank you!
Really a great doctor & has surrounded him with great young team
Professional, caring and involved with communication.
Thoroughly happy with his work and his integrity as a surgeon.
Very good
Clinic appointment to establish cares. Overview and clinical understanding was insightful and helpful to me. I thank the Orthopedic Center for the excellent care and service provided.
I know from past surgical experience with Dr Peters that he is outstanding and I also feel as though he cares about my health and wellbeing
Was the best experience with doctors, his team are the best
Its a great team -after surgery most of the info is told to the person driving you home -I would have appreciated talking with someone 3 or 4 days after surgery-ifs a major surgery that the average person doesnt experience-but your team -its an everyday thing -@ the 3rd week my hip started to hurt & just got worse -Im @ 6 weeks & it still hurts & I walk with a limp- I wanted to know why -I had followed what my team had told me to do- Im sure Im going to be alright, but I hated the fact that I might not Im a home builder & I always need to tell myself that the people Im building for are stressed & concerned -but yet are excited! I work hard to communicate & try to understand how they are feeling - - from my 1st visit I was told hip surgery wasnt a big deal & that it has come along way -but @ my 3rd week when the pain started -I was worried & scared-sorry for being so long Winded-but Im glad I have a chance to tell how I feel The team has more Good than bad! Thanks
Dr. Peters replaced my left knee last year and he did a very professional lo . I trust him to do the same on my right knee.
I was not prepared to go into my needs in such detail. It was great! I expected that It would be a simple meet and greet not a surgery plan. This meet far exceeded my expectations! I thank you for your care! I am so very in need of knee surgery. But surgery is a very scary event! They gave me peace of mind! I am sure that we will be able to make this happen in a professional way! Thank you!
I can say is that he helped me so much he had to fix two knees that were a total mess and fixed my left knee to look like a knee again. THANK YOU SO MUCH Dr. Peters
Dr. Peters is an excellent doctor. He is compassionate and concerned about his patents.
He is good to work with or wouldnt have come back to him
Dr. Peters was kind, direct, and explained things well.
Dr. Peters has always been honest with me. I appreciate that!
Dr Peters was very attentive to our questions and explained in a way we understood! He really instilled confidence
Dr. Peters and the entire staff were great. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and speedy recovery from my partial knee replacement surgery. Really great care from a great team!
I had a great experience with Dr. Peters and the team.
As mentioned in previous comment: Dr Peters is an excellent surgeon and iwas excellent in his follow up .
Skilled Surgeon. Nice .
I could not be happier with my treatment and results. I appreciate getting my life back thanks to Dr. Peters and his staff.
In the initial meeting he said we will eliminate your pain and get you walking normal again. He certainly met his promise. He has been very complete in his explanations and as far as surgery goes, there is a reason he is one of the best in the United States.
He was extremely kind and compassionate despite that I need a pretty major hip surgery. He was very thorough in explaining the whys an hows and what comes next, he was so very attentive and prompt with any answers.
Ive heard great things about Dr Peters from past patients. Hope all goes well with my procedure.
Dr Frandsen and Dr Peters were excellent
I have pulmonary issues and he wore his mask around his chin. His nose was never covered. I didn't want to correct him in front of his resident, as he overall seemed prickley.
Dr. Peters is the best!
Dr. Peters and his team have so improved my quality of life.
Professional and efficient
Obviously, one of the very best
Great Team
Very professional and helpful
Dr.Peters and staff have all been excellent ,and I am very pleased with how professional they have all been.
Absolutely I would recommend Dr Petere and his staff, In fact I already have recommended dr Peters Ian's his staff to all my Family, friends and associates, In fact, I was interviewed about my great experience with my hip replacement.
Dr. Peters' team work together very well and made me feel cared about. I loved getting the daily text messages during the first 6 weeks of recovery; they answered questions I was thinking about, gave inspiration and motivation, validated how I was progressing, and easy to access daily exercises.
Dr. Peters is a real asset to the organization.
Great
Dr.Peters and his staff have given me the best care, amazing professionals
I have always been treated like a friend, with respect and kindness even when I was confused about something.
He was arrogant.
Good
There's no way in hell that I would have a major surgery i.e. Full knee replacement from this doctor
The evaluation above probably applies more to the Resident who saw me first and who wrote the notes. He talked. He didn't listen. Dr Peter's was much better in this regard. More distressing was to find in the notes many things I was supposed to have been told and wasn't, and things I had agreed to but had not. Not good.
Great follow up with a notebook given to me with all my future appointment dates scheduled plus a list of things I need to do.
Have recommended Dr. Peters and his staff to several family members
Better communication is needed within
Not much bedside manner; Asked some odd questions with no real emotion. Kindof flat. Didn't spend much time either.
Everyone concerned was A one
Worst experience
Dr. Peters is excellent
I've been managing hip pain for 2 years with multiple meetings and this was the most assuring one I had (other care was great as well).
Everyone I talked with was very nice and cared about our comfort.
Organized,, efficient, competent.
Was encouraging but didn't have new ideas.
Excellent!
Good
They gave me one option and made it sound as though all my pain and problems would be taken care of if I had surgery, not discussing possible complications or side effects to the soft tissue, alternative treatments, or the long term expectations I can have.
Excellent!
Everyone was very responsive and thorough
I've just had a total knee replacement from Dr Peters. I've had a great outcome largely due to their excellent process. From beginning to end, I've felt supported and cared for. The daily texts that are sent out have been amazing. Matt the physical therapist has been positive, knowledgeable and caring.
Very good and extremely pleased
I was given information about different anesthesia options, but the doctor had one he preferred, so the decision really was not in my hands.
I felt like I was in "good hand"
Good
I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Christopher Peters to family and friends, he is excellent.
Dr Peters is Great and so is ALL his staff.
Dr. PETERS had no empathy, asked few questions and had no possible causes of my disabling hip pain I've been dealing with for 10 years. Offered no other diagnostic tests besides xrays. Just rushed me out.
Dr. Peters and Heather, his assistant, were kind and knowledgeable.
Dr. Peter's is an amazing person and even more amazing surgeon. He is always extremely helpful and informative at all of her appointments.
Good
Dr. Peters is always very concerned and listens to my issues. However, the fellow did not seem very concerned and very rote in his reactions to my condition.
Dr. C. Peters and staff has always done to excellent job for me.
Said everything looked very good
This is the first time meeting with Dr Peters since my surgery. He listened to my concerns about twisting my knee. I also had questions about my other need and it needing a possible replacement. He said I wasn't ready for a new knee and eased my mind on there being no problem with my new knee
Dr. Was arrogant - had no compassion -
When I said I was familiar with the surgery I need, he reacted positively and spoke to me like I knew what I was talking about. It was quick and easy, he didn't question my conditions or make me jump through hoops to prove myself.
It was an interesting visit. The PA and assistants are the ones who spent the most time with me and explained the information to me. They were all very nice and personable. The Resident who spent a bit of time with us was very nice and friendly. Most of the explanation I received was about surgery preparation, hospital stay and post surgery. The surgeon, Dr Peters did not explain the actual surgical procedure, he said very little and I realized that I should have come better prepared with questions. He was nice and did nothing wrong but I felt like he made no effort to make a connection with me or to help me know more about what would really happen in the surgery. I trust that he is a very skilled surgeon, but I did not feel valued or cared about personally. I felt a bit like I was just another routine surgery case. I realize that he is very busy. I also realize that I came to him for his skill not for his personality but I hope that he will consider my personal health challenges and my personal situation as he replaces my hip. He was not rude in any way, I feel like I should have asked him to explain the surgery to me and I should have been better prepared with more specific questions.
The Doctor and staff were amazing!
Very professional, helpful. Positive experience meeting for first time
My last two appointments with Dr. Peters to say the least very disappointing and confusing. Everything we have talked about doing regarding treatment and options were no longer open for discussion. He didn't explain all if my results from my tests so I may understand why he came to his conclusion for further treatment as discussed in previous office visits. I ended the virtual call feeling defeated with no answers, frustrated and back to square one!
Good
Good
Dr. Peters is excellent! He listened to my questions and concerns and gave complete answers. He has an excellent doctor - patient manner and is concerned about his patients.
Dr.Peters is extremely knowledgeable and listened to my concerns!
Dr. Peter's has perfect bedside manner
We will recommend Dr. Peters to everyone.
Heather and Dr Peters listened carefully to me, gave me all the time I needed.
I had excellent care from Dr Peter's and his staff
Give referral because insurance referred to dr called me right away
I kept getting the feeling that he wanted to leave, that he had someone else he would rather see
Dr Peters took his time and explained my knee problem.
Dr. Peter's and his team are stellar!! I have and will recommend him to everyone I know!
he rushed us out the door with no discussion or thought in how this condition has put my life on hold. I drove over an hour and waited almost 2 to discuss my options and I was totally dismissed
we completed review of both hip replacements. Then we discussed doing my knees next, he offered a shot of cortisone (spell?) to ease the pain. I passed at this time.
I feel Dr. Peters did an excellent job with my surgery. My recovery has been way above expectations.
Dr. Peters was aware ahead of time about my particular issue and was fully prepared to help me move on. I havehad two surgeries with Dr. Peters in the past and will hopefully, if necessary, have him in the future.
Doctor and staff answered all questions.
Dr. Peters is simply one of the best in the University of Utah Health System.
Dr. Peters is always willing to take time for questions and to provide information.
it was very good and very professional
they were very professional, but definitely Careing.
Dr. Peters listened to my concerns very carefully and offered useful input.
nothing resolved about pain - and not confident it will be, which is frustrating after enduring for three years
am I talking about the PA or the MD? Neither the PA nor Dr Peters show much interest in my concern. the whole total hip surgery left me feeling like I had been on a conveyer belt. This is a comment from an RN who worked at University Hospital for 30 years. Medicine has gone cookie cutter!
Dr. Peters has my confidence.
Left feeling good about the next course of action.
Excellent
all good
Treatment was explained in detail. All questions answered.
He was very attentive and explained everything really well
I did not have confidence in the Dr. decision. I left the appointment puzzled and discontent.
all good
good
Dr Peters answered my questions in detail and explained my procedure. Made me feel confident in his skill and concern for my well being
clear
good
Big news that my hip prosthetic is flawed and probably needs replacing was glossed over and treated with amazingly little explanation or empathy, and next to no time was devoted to seeing if I had any questions, or needed background on such a big and depressing piece of news
the surgeries on my knee's has been a life changing experience. all is good with everyone I encountered.
Dr. Peters and his staff are always great.
great communication
So nice to feel important everyone really does care and it shows.
Dr Peters was very concerned and gave me the best possible solution. He was very nice
Dr. Peters just didn't seem to care about me only the outcome that might make him seem like a bad doctor. I can see that I'm a high risk patient but when its time to come back for my knee replacement I will NOT be going back to him
The health team and my provider were concerned and explained all the risk and benefit of the treatment I need..
I saw a female MA. a male intern, 2 x- ray techs and Dr Peters, all very competent and kind
All questions we asked were answered thoroughly.
Thank you!
Alwaws very good
Dr. Peters assured me he would write some notes on the visit that I need, but three business days (and now the weekend) have passed and nothing has been posted on MyChart. I have inquired about them twice and received no response.
TERRIFIC
The connection was a little choppy. The provider had a hard time hearing me.
great
still recovering, great so far
only option given was knee replacement I told them I would not do that.
So I can not schedule my surgery until I have quit Smokeless tobacco for 3 weeks. This should have been told to me at my first appointment 3 months ago. Now I do not know if I can get everything done before the end of the year. Really had no clue that tabacco was such an issue never has been before.
nice people
super
I am a physician, I understand the risks of anesthesia and surgical joint replacement. Dr. Peters and I did not chose to spend time discussing the risks of the procedure, the discussion that we had on this issue was adequate.
Dr. Peters took time to answer all my questions. Thank you
Great clinic, great staff, great Dr. Peters and everyone.
Dr. Peters is great. very personable and very skilled. Fellow was great too.
Peters was reassuring me that it was likely muscles and tendons and I probably would not need hip revision replacement
Could not have been more pleased with Dr. Peters
Dr. Peter's was very empathetic and not hurried.
The doctor was very attentive to my needs as well as answering any questions or concerns I had.
Resident and nurse were the majority participants in the appointment.
I'm still filling something is wrong with my leg
