  • Christopher German, APRN DNP-C is a family nurse practitioner in the department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Utah. He received his Doctorate Nurse Practitioner (DNP) from Westminster University. While working as an inpatient hospitalist, he developed a strong interest in gastroenterology. Currently, he manages general GI conditions, such as GERD, chronic diarrhea, chronic constipation and disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBIs), including irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, and chronic abdominal pain. However, he has particular interest and specialization in the diagnosis and management of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).

    With experience in both in-person and tele-health settings, Christopher is dedicated to applying evidence-based approaches to improve quality of life for patients with chronic GI conditions.
