Dr. Johns has won the trust of our child- and that is not easy to do with all that he has been through. He willingly opens his mouth as she directs him to, and listens to him when he has opinions to share. Not easy for most people to pause for a 4 year olds explanations. Especially busy doctors. But she does it every visit.
She was confident and knowledgeable, which made me feel comfortable. She was quick, but a loud time for questions, and the explanations were explained in a manner for us to understand.
Dr. Johns was patient and kind throughout our visit. She took the time to listen attentively and explained everything in a clear and understandable way. Her professionalism and compassionate approach made us feel comfortable and well-informed. She is an excellent provider, and we truly appreciate her care.

Dr. Johns was not only professional and knowledgeable, but she was also accommodating and patient with our 4 year old grandson. She was able to get him to cooperate and ease his anxiety through her kindness and patience, but she had a very happy little patient instead of the scared little boy he was when we came in.
Dr Dana Johns is wonderful, caring, focused on you, the patient, very thorough. Dr Johns also has a very, very busy practice. My need was not urgent. I waited almost 3 mos for my first appt. After I was seen initially, it was much easier to get in for future appts and procedures. Dr Johns' follow-ups were excellent & caring, providing good solutions for my healing. My care/healing took about 8 mos of visits (spreading out my visits anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 mos apart). Here, I am now! All issues resolved! Would absolutely recommend Dr Johns. However, one must be a patient patient in a very busy practice. Getting in is tough, but once established, the care is excellent.
I saw both Dr. Johns and her PA, Gabby, and they both were stellar! They made time to do a quick in office excision so that I didn't have to come back again. Highly recommend both Dr. Johns and Gabriela.

Not to impressed I was at the begining but then scheduling was a nightmare, the girl that does her scheduling not very personable/ friendly. But I trust Dana work but as a personal doctor and things not impressed. I saw more doctors as I waiting for surgery being so good at interacting that I don't feel I got that

Dr. Johns is incredibly personable! It really did feel like she cared about me as a patient, even if we only talked for an hour and I might not see her for the surgery until a year from now. She gave me a mirror and then helped me understand what procedures she recommended, and how they would help me achieve my surgery goals. That, plus seeing some of her before-and-after photos, gave me a LOT of confidence in her capabilities as a plastic surgeon. I walked in nervous and dejected, and I walked out excited for this surgery in a year or so. I literally recommended Dr. Johns to a friend of mine after she showed me her work. Highest recommendations!

Dr Johns has been absolutely amazing! She has done two surgeries in the past year for my 10 year old son, regarding his Cleft Palate. My son had to have surgery at two months old so you can imagine the stress it put on me to make sure he had the best surgeon. Im am beyond grateful for Dr.Johns for helping my son and our family through that hard time and for his future care. Its extremely hard to find a provider who doesnt just see you as just another patient. Dr. Johns gave us constant information every visit and she truly helped me as a mom feel comfortable as well as acknowledged how hard it is to go through that. This why I would recommend her to everyone. Your kids are your everything and they are in the best hands with Dr.Johns.

My parents had more questions than I did. I've done a lot of research as a transgender patient, and there was a lot that was communicated privately with myself which was helpful. My parents weren't as familiar with the procedures prior to the appointment, and everyone was super informative and helped them feel better about the whole process.
I just love Dr. Johns so much. There isn't anything I can say which I haven't already, but seriously, she's the absolute best. She's been my advocate for years now and I'm so glad that she's been part of my overall journey.
The care provider was very detailed and went thru each part of my problem very well in a way I could easily understand it. They did try to include me a lot which as a general thing I did have some input but I didn't really know a whole lot, so they were very helpful to fill in the gaps. They were so nice and presented themselves in a more laid back way which really helped me feel more comfortable with them as opposed to the usual "professionalism".
I love seeing her because I feel like she listens and creates space for me to ask questions and discuss my concerns.
