This is only the second time Ive every been talked down too I dont know if its the Dr's ego but Im not a child I have a masters degree in computer science from MIT but the Dr seemed to talk down down to me as if I were 12 dont ever talk me me like that again I will never schedule and appointment with this Dr or this office again

After getting the MRI, it wasn't explained to me what would happen next nor when I could expect someone to follow up with me regarding the results.

It always surprises me that seeing the doctor during a visit is not just standard. I requested that he come in and update me on my condition. He did, and was very kind and explained in an understandable and clear way what was happening with my eyes. He's a great doctor!

Dr. Bair and Dr. Hansen were both very good at explaining the results of the tests. They were very patient in waiting for my conclusions. I am now waiting to reach them after the weekend to get on their surgery list to save my eyesight. I changed my mind that night after visiting with them about surgery.. I think they both seemed very confident that they could do the surgery.

It became obvious that Dr. Hansen was whom I should see. I was able to secure an appointment 2, weeks to the day of my diagnosis. Looking at all the information that was collected and what he found himself . He knew exactly what to do and presented a treatment plan and started the process. I have complete confidence in his ability to save my eye/life and I am thankful I was able to see him so aoon.

I give Eric Hansen all positive and high grades. But, the system failed. There were three people with the same first name in the waiting area. When the name Bill was called the texh picked one of us to go in, then another Bill went in and finally me. When the started prepping me I that there was a mixup. They put me back in the waiting room. I took another 2 1/2 hours to get my 15 minute procedure. First, the tech that put me back in the wait area should have addresses the multiple same name problem. Second, there should be confirmation that matches the patient and procedure sooner, i.e. before prep starts.

When my son was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Hansen called me personally while out of the country. His first question was how are you and what can I do to help you?. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and very nice. He must have been overbooked that day because when he finally came into see me, he was there for literally five minutes. He did talk to be about a challenge I was experiencing and arranged a extra test to try to help me with it which I appreciated.

He is AMAZING. HE WAS ALWAYS PATIENT, never in a hurry and listened intently. He even sent me a letter thanking me for trusting him with the care and treatment of my melanoma tumor. My recovery has been better than I expected. I am reading with the same glasses that I wore before my surgery. I felt s genuine mutual frienship developed during the last five months .
