Dr Kim is a wonderfully skillled surgeon. She took great care explaining everything to me and answering all my questions. The follow up care was very helpful as well. There was very little bruising after my eyelid lift surgery because her after surgery instructions address any problems that might occur, and if followed I feel like most things that would be uncomfortable can be avoided. My eyelids have healed beautifully with such tiny scars no one can really see them. My vision has improved along with my self esteem.

Dr. Kim is obviously good at her job. Time management? Not so much. I have a 20 minute rule: I will wait for an appointment for 20 minutes and then inquire and reevaluate. I couldn't do this after waiting 3 months for an appointment to remove the remnants of a sty that was uncomfortable and often painful. When I inquired I was told there were other clinics. Seriously? Oh, and to top it off, the ointment I was supposed to start the night of the procedure wasn't even sent to the pharmacy until 6 am the next morning.
Dr. Kim is extremely knowledgable, she took the time to listen to me respectfully, was kind and patiently explained things to me. She cared. She was wonderful!!

I can't say enough to show my appreciation for Dr. Kim and her entire staff. My daughter was in an auto accident and suffered eye trauma and lost eyesight. I have felt since the beginning of her appointments and her ongoing appointments, that the staff truly cares and wants to the best outcome for my daughter. Dr. Kim always explains the process and results so that we truly understand what the prognosis is and what procedures may need to happen. I am beyond grateful that my daughter has access to such a high-level of care.
She's very thorough in explaining in detail what the surgery for droopy eyelids entailed, recovery time, etc. A friend who had the same procedure performed by Dr. Kim referred me and I found she has a wonderful personality as well as experience in the treatment of Asian eyes which I appreciate. I am very happy I no longer have a droopy eyelid thanks to her expertise.

Dr Kim offered a revision for eyelid reduction surgery. I accepted and it was an easy out patient, conscious event. We talked the whole time, and because I had asked for it, she narrated the cutting and stitching.
When I first went to see her, she was too much ¿business like¿ and didn't explain much. But before the procedure she came in to talk to me and then explained everything. And my first check up with her went very well. She is all business, but she is the best.

And everytime i have called the office about a new concerning symptom they tell me someone will call me and no one ever does. I do not recommend her or the Moran eye center. A week or more before my surgery i received my pre-op instructions via a phone call. I think the person told me no eating for 24 hours. Then the instructions were sent via Mychart. The written instructions said no eating after midnight. Dr. Kim did say she would bring up the inconsistency with staff. THANK YOU. Also there seems to be inconsistencies between anesthesiologists on treatments. The anesthesiologists need to come up with a standard treatment plan.

Wow! Talk about a capable doctor. Hee Joon Kim, MD knew exactly what needed to be done. She was very quick at the procedure, but very careful. I was so comfortable during it considering I had had an other surgery just over a week before that on my knee. She listened to me, she showed love, compassion and caring. I have told so many people about my positive experience.

Dr. Kim is exceptional. She took lots of time with me and I never felt rushed which I do in Dr.'s offices most of the time. Her assistants were respectful and pleasant. She took the time to find out what was wrong and make good suggestions, not just give me more eye drops to try.
Dr. Kim performed a same-day surgery on cauterizing my lacrimal ducts. Her technique for anesthesia made the surgery surprisingly smooth. I had had a similar surgery previously with significantly more pain. The outcome was successful, with minimal pain: I am thrilled! I felt well cared for by Dr. Kim and her team. Thank you!!!
