Dr. Robson’s clinical interests include eosinophilic esophagitis and management of gastrointestinal, liver and nutrition issues in children with cystic fibrosis. His research interests include: 1) diagnosing, tracking and treating eosinophilic esophagitis in children, and 2) analysis of whether meeting early growth benchmarks matches up with better weight and lung function later in life for children with cystic fibrosis. Dr. Robson is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology/Nutrition. He sees patients and performs endoscopy at Primary Children’s Hospital and serves as a gastroenterologist in the multidisciplinary Cystic Fibrosis clinic at Primary Children’s Hospital. Dr. Robson remains active in medical education of trainees at all levels. He is the Doctoring Course Director, a longitudinal course in which 1st year University of Utah medical students develop physician skills, including medical history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making. Dr. Robson is also the Echo Canyon House Director, mentoring and building community for subset of medical students working at the 4th Street Student Led Clinic. Dr. Robson has multiple recent academic publications stemming from his work in medical education, from both his work with early medical students and with pediatric gastroenterology fellows.
