  • Dr. Joshua Klatt isn't just a great doctor—he's also known for going above and beyond to care for his patients. His dedication and compassion have earned him the title of Physician of the Year not once, but twice, in 2013 and 2023 by Primary Children's Hospital. He's always looking for new ways to make his patients feel better, and his commitment to their well-being is truly remarkable.

Dr. Klatt specializes in treating bone and joint problems in children, especially crooked spines and hip issues. After becoming a doctor at Pennsylvania State University, he continued his learning journey at the University of Utah, Primary Children’s Hospital and Shriners Clinic for Children. Dr. Klatt is so passionate about helping kids that he even won an award for his research! He's always eager to learn more, which is why he traveled all the way to New Zealand to gain advanced training. Now, he works at the University of Utah Orthopaedics and loves seeing kids at Primary Children's Hospital and Shriners Clinic for Children in Salt Lake City.

In addition to seeing patients, he's also involved in lots of cool studies to find even better ways to help kids feel better. And guess what? He even visits Missoula, Montana, and St. George, Utah, to help kids there too!

Dr. Klatt was very empathetic, and answered everyone of our questions. He even took the time to share some previous experiences with our daughter who was very nervous.

Dr Klatt is amazing! My daughter's surgery went perfectly and she's had a very quick recovery. While in the hospital post surgery Dr Klatt made sure to visit often. He really encouraged both of us even though it was a hard few days. He cares about the kids in his care and is so great at helping them feel comfortable about their procedure. Highly recommend him to any one needing a spinal surgeon!

    PRIMARY CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER

Dr. Klatt is a great doctor. He listens well and explains things to patients and parents in a direct and understandable way. Be warned, however, the practice cannot accommodate patients who use a wheelchair.
