Dr. Joshua Klatt is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who believes that kids deserve not only the best medical care, but also a little extra kindness, patience, and even humor along the way. Twice honored as Physician of the Year by Primary Children’s Hospital (2013 and 2023), he’s known for his mix of expertise, compassion, and down-to-earth approach that puts children (and parents) at ease.

Dr. Klatt specializes in caring for growing bones and joints, with a focus on crooked spines and hip conditions. Since 2023, he has served as Head of the Pediatric Spine Program, leading a team dedicated to advancing care for children with complex spine conditions. He earned his medical degree at Pennsylvania State University, trained at the University of Utah, Primary Children’s Hospital, and Shriners Children’s Salt Lake City, and even traveled all the way to New Zealand for advanced training—because learning how to help kids better is always worth the trip.

Dr. Klatt combines clinical care with research, always looking for new and improved ways to get kids back to the activities they love. He also extends his care beyond Salt Lake City, regularly seeing patients in Missoula, Montana, and St. George, Utah.

Whether in clinic, surgery, or the research lab, Dr. Klatt’s mission is simple: to help kids heal, grow strong, and get back to just being kids.
