Friendly, thorough, reassuring and knowledgeable. Did not seem rushed and made sure to address any questions/concerns. Helped ensure we had my daughter's out of state immunization records were uploaded to MyChart, which I had been trying to do for months!

Dr. Alvey listens carefully to my daughter's medical challenges and involves us in the decision-making while providing his expertise on recommendations. I know he keeps current on the latest scientific research and I trust his judgment. He helps me as a parent to find solutions to improve my daughter's health. My daughter feels very comfortable with him and comments to me that she has such a great doctor.

Dr Alvey is highly recommended! I don't plan on ever taking my child to anybody else. I travel across the valley on the public transportation system just to be able to see him instead of anyone closer to me. If you are looking for a pediatrician I definitely recommend going to him. He listens to our concerns, supports what we want as parents and gives us the knowledge that we need to know as first time parents. We feel very comfortable with him and so does our son.

UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICS

Although Dr. Alvey is very attentive and explains things in a very good way to my kid, two times in a raw he has let us wait for him for an hour each time. This is very unprofessional. I understand that he has perhaps other patients to see, however what is the point to accept an appointment at 8:40 AM if he is not available until 9:40 AM? Very unprofessional.

We love Dr Alvey, I'm so glad that when we have an issue that he talks about all options available but always starts with the easiest and least intrusive or alternatives to traditional medicine.
