I was confused why Dr. Frame had recommended a statin despite the fact that all cholesterol data had improved since the last visit.Dr. Frame thoroughly explained why an algorithm was recommending this medication-- being one year older and changes in blood pressure! I was able to share additional health data on my blood pressure so we could make a more informed decision. She also discussed dietary changes that would address blood pressure. I really appreciated her being willing to address my confusion about the initial recommendation without being defensive.

When medications are suggested, she answers all my questions and does not just send me on my way with a prescription. She is a great physician. However ,I consider the "health care system" to be slow is getting proper diagnostic procedures done in a timely manner. I don't need to or want to hear typical corporate "explanations." I find them impersonal, empty and void of true concern.
