Dr. Hastings is a very knowledgeable and experience physician. I have a rare genetic condition that makes some of my lab results inaccurate. I was seen by two endocrinologists who could not make sense of my lab results and had me measure my insulin every day. Long story short, Dr. Hastings was able to quickly connect the dots and assure me that the results are not reliable due to my condition and I do not have to worry about what appears to be abnormal. Given the rarity of my condition, the quick diagnosis shows an exceptional level of knowledge and attention to details that few doctors possess. I have been a patient of hers for more than five years and have consistently experienced excellent care.

Dr. Katherine Hastings is an extraordinary healthcare provider, far surpassing in her caring demeanor and broad knowledge anything I would normally expect from a busy doctor. She always makes me feel that my concerns are her concerns. Never have I wondered if any medical condition I raised was not being considerable thought. With other providers, I have sometimes felt I am being given generic responses, which is pretty much a waste of both of our time. Dr. Hastings on the other hand seems to immediately intuit what my understanding might already be and quickly tailor her guidance accordingly, quickly getting to the point, while maintaining empathy. This is unique in my 22 years of experience at the Madsen.
