  • Dr. Kathy Ostler has been practicing community pediatrics for over 23 years and is excited to join the University of Utah, where she will care for patients at the Sugarhouse Clinic and the Well Baby Nursery. She specializes in general pediatrics, supporting children and families from infancy through adolescence, with a special interest in gastroenterology and diabetes prevention. Dr. Ostler is committed to partnering with families to provide personalized, compassionate care.

    Dr. Ostler completed medical school at the University of Utah and her residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, experimenting with new recipes, hiking, and exploring used bookstores and yarn shops.

    Dr. Ostler is an experienced and caring pediatrician. Our daughter is apprehensive of medical professionals and Dr. Ostler saw her and was gentle and cared for her in manner than helped my daughter (even if she still cried). We felt heard and seen. So happy to be working with Dr. Ostler!
