UNIVERSITY HOSPITALI am incredibly impressed with the care I received at the University of Utah Hospital. From start to finish, every part of my visit exceeded my expectations. The doctor took so much time to really listen, explain things clearly, and make sure all my questions were answered ¿ something that's hard to find these days. I was also amazed at how quickly I was able to get in to see the ENT after her referral. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and compassionate. I'm so grateful for the level of care and attention I received. Highly recommend!

She made recommendations to help me to find the answers about my needs. She told me her concerns and listened to my concerns. She prescribed medication I needed and gave me equipment I would need to help clear up my lungs.

SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERIf you (as the patient) are able to get Katie to genuinely and respectfully listen and then actually HEAR you and your concerns, then you will have a good mutual experience. However, if for one reason or another, Katie does not see your time as valuable as hers, protect your dignity, and request a different APRN in this area.

She has run a lot of diagnostic tests and almost everything has been ruled out, which actually is a relief. I was worried there might be something serious going on with me, but all the scary stuff has been ruled out.

She has been part of a team of professionals that have solved or minimized what I have been diagnosed with. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and questions and responds appropriately. She also responds to MyChart messages timely. Even when I express my frustration with ongoing symptoms she hears me out and seems to genuinely care about finding ways to improve my symptoms, monitor my care and search for a cause.
