  • Dr. Khendek received her medical degree from McGill University. She completed her Pediatric residency followed by her Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Fellowship at Sainte-Justine Hospital. She then completed an Advanced Pediatric Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

    She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. Her primary clinical interests are in pediatric liver diseases including caring for children who need liver transplantation. She sees gastroenterology and hepatology patients at Eccles Primary Children’s Outpatient building.

    Dr. Khendek’s research interests include autoimmune liver diseases as well as improving outcomes in liver transplantation.
