Superb care and communication
This visit wasn't the best experience. The wait time was much longer than normal. And they were working with a student. My issue is more with the student than with my usual provider, though I was frustrated with both. My provider sent the student in to speak to me and start asking questions and assessing why I was there. I felt like the student especially, had made up her mind as to what my problem is and wasn't listening to me as thoroughly as they should have . I felt like walking out at one point. She wasn't out right rude or anything, but I felt like she had made a decision without really listening to everything I had to say about what my symptoms have been. She eventually went and consulted with my provider. They both came back after more waiting, and while my provider did do a basic check up and ask some follow up questions and clarify a few things, I didn't feel very like they were very concerned about my issue and that they were doing the same as the student and making an assumption without really listening to me. I've had better experiences with this provider so perhaps it was an off day. But I do want to be listened to and not be pre-judged because of how I look, which is how I feel this appointment went with the student in particular.

The U is the only network in UTAH to ever help me, I was sick for 8 years and intermountain basically told me I was too fat to be taken care of and now at least I am being taken seriously by the providers in the sugarhouse location and beyond as well
The only very minor problem was the doctor had to leave before I got back from radiology. But radiology was very slow so that was not in her control. And, she consulted with me and the nurse who finished my appointment.
She always is caring about me and gives great advice.. I've never had a better doctor- she makes my visits alit better , she actually understands - and cares.

I don't like it when I have to wait for an hour before I see my care provider and I don't like people not knowing what they're doing when it comes to my special issues I'm a special needs adult that have a very rare condition and it's really frustrating to deal with and get things done and I still have things that need to be done plus I never get calls returned back for my primary care and that didn't happen

This saved time and potential risk to my health. When I stated I had no acetaminophen at home, she asked if I wanted to have some included in my prescription. That was fantastic'saving me and my neighbor from having to make extra efforts. She is an excellent healthcare provider.
