Dr. Miller was born and raised in Utah, where she developed a love of nature. She completed undergraduate and master studies in Colorado and later worked in a research lab at the University of Texas at Austin. She returned home for medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where she stayed to complete residencies in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child Psychiatry (Triple Board). She sees patients at the University of Utah Pediatrics Clinic providing care to patients and families in the SUPeRAD (Substance Use & Pregnancy – Recovery, Addiction, Dependence) specialty clinic. This multi-disciplinary clinic serves pregnant and postpartum individuals with substance use disorders and provides tailored general pediatric care for their children with emphasis on fostering early childhood development and maternal mental health. Dr. Miller also works at Primary Children’s Behavioral Health Hospital on the Crisis Services Team evaluating and stabilizing children and adolescents in mental health crisis.
