Appointment could have been much better. The staff that I spoke to before my appointment, didn't update reasons for my appointment from kidney stones to utterly raging in continence, so Dr. was mad at me. I told her it wasn't my fault. Thus right at the beginning of talking to Dr./PA-C, it was going to be a bigger worst communication appointment than I had lost all sleep over the night before about getting really good help, answers, clarity, etc. I hope that our next appointment will go better as not to affend each other respectfully. Yes, I tried being patient with Dr. about having to shut up and listen so she/Dr. could get to next appointment. But that only gave me grave disappointment in our First time meeting appointment. I do not like contention, and I try to avoid it at all costs. I am obeying her treatment requests'. Giving it the best opportunity to help my outraging leaking incontinence problems.

Sometimes she is rather short with me and doesn't seem to really listen but makes a quick assumption instead. I get that time is precious in such a setting, but it doesn't take much longer to listen well.

I just needed the support and suggestion as what the next step could be. Just felt I wasn't a priority and the decision was left on me for what to do next.

I am so happy I saw Dr Mary Orourke! I have seen a few other providers for this health problem and felt they didn't really listen to me and seemed to invalidate my symptoms and experience. Dr Orourke was amazing! She listened and I felt really heard for the first time concerning my problem. She validated my experience and symptoms. She was very inclusive of me in any decision making regarding treatment and how to go forward. She is definitely one of my favorite providers now.

After waiting 30 minutes for an appointment scheduled months in advance I was told I was seeing someone else because the doctor was too busy to see me, they told me they wanted to do a procedure and then said this is what it's called you can google it to learn about it. Very little was mentioned about the procedure and I've decided to look for a new doctor due to the lack of care and unprofessionalism

Very disappointing visit. I never mind seeing a PA, but this visit left me feeling unheard and very frustrated.

I liked getting the print out after the appointment and both ladies were super open to answering my questions and letting me ask them.

Care provider was not clear about the type of incontinence I have. She had a chart which showed two types, but never told me what I had. Referred a new procedure that currently is not available. Not sure if my insurance will cover the cost.

When asked what the side effects were on a new medication prescribed, her response was " well, Tylenol has side effects" and I get that, but why did she have to put it that way. I was concern on a new medication that was being prescribed to me.

I feel that problem was excused as something that I should be able to live with.

The assistant and Mary were wonderful. I got all wet and they helped me change out of my wet clothes into hospital scrubs. I was on a stretcher so that made it more challenging. They really went out of their way to make me comfortable.
