Matthew Messina is a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience in Interventional Radiology, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care and Critical Care. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College and his Bachelor of Health Science with a minor in Biology from Stockton University.
He began practicing as a Physician Assistant in 2018 and joined the Interventional Radiology team at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2023. In his current role, he provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and ICU consultative and procedural care, performing image-guided interventions such as drain placements, biopsies, and vascular access management. Previously, he practiced in Interventional Radiology and Emergency Medicine in New Jersey, where he also served as a clinical preceptor for physician assistant and medical students.
Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, Matthew Messina maintains certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and is a member of the Pi Alpha National Physician Assistant Honor Society.
In his free time he enjoys the outdoors.
