Neesha Moon Nixon, OT

Neesha Nixon MOT, OTR/L, CSRS is an occupational therapist at University of Utah Sugar House Health Center Neuro Rehab. She specializes in treating individuals with neurological disorders such as spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and concussion. She has experience in Hospital Acute care, Inpatient Rehab, and Outpatient Rehab. Neesha graduated from the University of Utah in 2014 with her BS degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Prior to graduate school for occupational therapy, she was a lab specialist on campus, working with maize genetics for over 7 years. She made the transition to health care and graduated with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2021 from the University of Utah. Neesha became a board certified stroke rehab specialist in 2022.

Neesha enjoys spending time with her son and dogs!! Her main hobbies are mountain biking, climbing and occasionally dabbles in trail jogging.
