I believe that a physician’s role is to serve as a partner, confidant, and guide in navigating an individual’s journey to optimal health. You are the master of your life and your health, and I will do my best to serve as a catalyst for your goals. My specialty training in family medicine forms the foundation for my practice and focus in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) and lifestyle medicine.

I utilize osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), a hands-on therapeutic modality appropriate for many acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal disorders and injuries, to promote your body’s innate affinity for self-healing. In my practice of lifestyle medicine, I address your condition and symptoms through the natural framework of human health – diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, social connectedness, and avoidance of risky substances.

I am thrilled to be a part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare practitioners at the University of Utah Health!

Dr. Sheikh Is the BEST! He is very caring, skilled, and helpful. I told him about how I am not able to bring a seat to a stadium event and he then he kindly wrote a note for me and now the event staff are providing me a stadium seat. Yay!

The UofU pain management clinic are unfortunately inexperienced compared to Dr. Sheikh's knowledge and skill set in the ability to relieve serious pain. The results are long lasting as well. I recommend Dr. Sheikh to anyone who is experiencing significant pain.
