  • Shawn Kohler, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, Illinois. He completed both an adult psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals and is board certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His interests include clinical research in the areas of autism and residential treatment and medical education. Dr. Kohler is excited to be part of the team of excellent faculty, residents, and staff in the Behavioral Health Outpatient clinics operated by the University's Huntsman Mental Health Institute.
