  • Dr. Spencer Bertoch brings clinical expertise, professionalism, and fun to his dermatology practice at the University of Utah. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he attended The University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then remained at the University of Arizona and completed his dermatology residency training, serving as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Bertoch left his practice in Arizona to move closer to family and accepted a clinical faculty position at the University of Utah. He compassionately treats a broad range of common skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and warts, as well as other uncommon conditions. He also has extensive experience in both the surgical and non-surgical treatments of skin cancers. While providing exceptionally high-quality care, Dr. Bertoch focuses on creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for every patient.

    Dr. Bertoch is fun to talk to and joke with. He's my type of people! I'm very impressed with him. Yep I guess you could say I think he's pretty cool. My husband and I always go in together and he treats us both good! I would highly recommend him to everyone I know that needs a dermatologist.

    He is very personable and goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He makes sure that my questions are answered. I have never left an appointment with him feeling like I am not getting top notch medical care.
