Dr. Tantravahi is a very caring Doctor. He always asks how you are doing and what's going on in your life. Most people don't like going to the Dr. but I'm glad that When I have an appointment I get to see a Dr. that cares about his patients.
Tantravahi is a world class physician. I would (and, in fact, do) trust him with my life. He is intelligent, conscientious, and highly competent. He stays informed on the cutting edge of the hem onc research literature, takes the patients perspective seriously, and has an truly excellent bedside manner--a rare combination. He is truly the full package for a clinician.

Great Doctor
The doctor is great to work with, and I feel he cares about my health. I was disappointed that I waited an hour and a half beyond my scheduled appointment time before I was seen by the doctor.
Dr. Tantravahi takes the time to fully explain everything and takes time to answer all your questions.

Dr. Tantravahi is very knowledgeable, kind, courteous and offers a variety of options when applicable. He includes you in your care and doesn't make it feel like he is talking down to you. He is a great person as well as a great doctor. His nursing staff are all top notch as well and deserve all the praise they get.

Dr. Tantravahi is a very caring doctor. He is also a wonderful diagnostician. He keeps a close eye on progress and explains how things are progressing. I have been his patient for seven years and I honestly do not know if I would be here without his expertise and knowledge and his willingness to try various approaches to my health problem. He is also very friendly and lets me have a part in the decisions being made.
Very caring and takes time to explain condition
Dr. Tantravahi provided a very thorough review of treatment options and pointed out which would be best based upon the lab reports. He also followed up with us and our local doctor giving his treatment suggestions.
He is a very caring doctor he listens to you and all of your concerns. I feel very comfortable being able to discuss any of my health needs with him.
He takes such great care in discussing my treatment with me and really makes me feel how much he cares about me. He's more concerned about me as a person than about my treatment.
He is a great dr. He talks to you like you no what is going on. He explains things to you in a way that you can understand them. And he talks to slow enough that you can understand everything.

Dr Tantravahi was willing to take the time to address an unusual medical diagnosis and answer my follow up questions. His willingness to do so made a big difference in my personal sense of uncertainty
Dr. Tantravahi has treated me for over 5 years and has helped me so much with my problem. He tried various approaches in the beginning . Some worked and some didn't. We eventually found what worked and he keeps a close eye on my health through blood tests every 3 months. He always asks if I have any questions and makes sure I feel comfortable with decisions made. He is very easy to talk to and very friendly in addition to being an excellent hematologist.
