Thomas Gethin-Jones, MD

Tom Gethin-Jones, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals, serving as chief resident in his final year of residency. His clinical and academic interests include resident and medical student education and advocacy, inpatient psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and patient, staff, and faculty safety. Board-certified in Psychiatry, Dr. Gethin-Jones could not be happier and more proud to be working as an attending on the Adult Inpatient Psychiatry service at the University of Utah Huntsman Mental Health Institute and on the Inpatient Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry service at University of Utah University Hospital.
