  • I have worked with the area dancers, several professional companies and the University of Utah dance majors for about 15 years

Originally from Colorado, I received my undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and my master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. I use both of these degrees to assess and plan individualized programs. During my career I have worked with several different sports teams with various injuries but now specializes in dance and dance wellness. I am a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) and the Performing Arts Special Interest Group of the American Physical Therapy Association (PASIG of APTA).

In regard to mentoring, I believe in jumping in with both feet and taking each patient, looking at them from head to toe and developing a program that works with their lifestyle. I take a hands on approach with manual treatment and supplement with exercises to help with imbalances. I believe in looking above and below the area of dysfunction as everything works together.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my 2 children and husband, camping, hiking and reading.
