  • William Dunson, MD received his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He then completed a residency at the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics, where he was chief resident his final year. Before joining Huntsman Cancer Institute, Dunson worked with the Division of General Medicine at the University of Utah and at Madsen Health Center as a primary care physician. Currently, he practices at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital where his clinical duties include evaluating acutely ill cancer patients in the Huntsman Cancer Hospital Acute Care Service.
