5 for Life takes place once a month at locations across the Wasatch Front, making it easy for you to get important screening tests. We offer testing for heart disease, breast cancer, cervical cancer, skin cancer, mental and sexual health, and bone density—all in just over two hours. We even offer nutritional education.
We'll pamper you with a healthy breakfast and chair massage.

Eighty percent of heart disease is preventable with proper diet, exercise, and by not smoking.

Women 40 and older should get an annual mammogram. If there’s a history of breast cancer in her family, a woman should get her first mammogram 10 years before her relative was diagnosed.

In addition to an annual skin exam, it’s important to check yourself for new or changing moles. We’ll give you a complete check-up from head to toe. (Not available at Midvale location).

A Pap test should be done every three years or at the physician’s recommendation.

As we age, bone fractures and osteoporosis become real, DEXA-scan testing measures bone density and helps predict potential for fractures and osteoporosis. We recommend women over age 65 receive a DEXA-scan. It is also good for post-menopausal women to have a baseline scan for future comparison.

A colonoscopy finds precancerous growths in the intestines. Starting at age 50, women should have a colonoscopy every 10 years.
