Dr. Silver was very patient and kind with my husband and I. He took the time to answer all of our questions and gave thorough explanations of treatment options. He is very knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend him to others.

dr. silver was disappointing and seemed callous. he wasn't listening to anything I was concerned about and could not answer any of my questions. I left with more questions than answers and feeling ignored and let down. it was a terrible experience. I felt unheard and not treated. it was very frustrating.

(During my virtual visit) I felt Dr. silver seemed a little distant. maybe because it was a virtual visit. he answered my questions but didn't "offer" any additional medical advice. he just answered my questions. that was good but as a first time mom who's whole birth plan was around an out of hospital birth experience, didn't even know what to ask. I was hoping Dr. Silver would kinda walk me through the whole process.

I wasn't informed when I arrived that I would not be seeing Dr. Silver as scheduled. It was a shock to meet a new provider who knows nothing of my condition or situation during the end of my high risk pregnancy. I would prefer to be informed when I arrive if Dr. Silver is not available to meet with me or answer my concerns regarding my c-section and the decisions to deliver my baby early.

I love dr silver & when he was able to come in I definitely felt at ease, but this experience was really rough my appointment took almost 3 hours and it was a regular ultra sound & check up. the other midwife did not know what was going on or that my fetus has a heart condition nor did the ultrasound tech. it made me feel very uncomfortable & I much rather would've waited for someone who knew what was going on or fhat looked over my file

I have received nothing less than exceptional care from Dr.Silver and the mid wife. I feel very confident in my pregnancy with both doctors regarding high risk issues. They make me worry alot less and I know my pregnancy is in great hands. They go above and beyond compared to the care I received with my first pregnancy! big thank you to them!

I have had two miscarriages in the last five years and I've never been treated as I really felt that I should be. But coming to this office into this hospital I was treated like a human by every single person that I saw. This was an unusual experience and even if this procedure does not work, I will be forever grateful.

It was good. I did inquire about how long the advice given is good for. At first, Dr. Silver thought I said "Device" so he was kind of confused. I think if someone doesn't ask, than maybe make sure to point out how long the advice is good for etc.

UofU Patient April 21, 2018

Nurse mid wife was great. We only saw doctor for 5 minutes. I probably should've been more prepared to ask him questions since he is going to deliver my baby in a few weeks and I just met him.

UofU Patient April 02, 2018

Really appreciated his explanation of everything. Was very helpful

UofU Patient January 30, 2018

I can't say enough good about both Dr silver and his fellow, not sure on the spelling. dr Debbick. they were both excellent. honestly hit everything concern and question I had without me even asking. they were so wonderful and explained things where we didn't have any issues understanding. amazing "bedside manners" for both. spent every bit of time I needed and were both so kind.

UofU Patient January 09, 2018

Dr Einerson showed concern for me and so patiently explained everything.

UofU Patient January 08, 2018

Dr. Einerson is the most caring, patient, relatable, sincere doctor I've ever interacted with. He spent as much time as we needed going over my situation and the options, and was matter-of-fact but still real and sympathetic -- the perfect balance. I instantly had complete confidence in his care over me and I'm so grateful for him.

UofU Patient September 29, 2017

Thanks everyone! I know my baby and I are in good hands. I never leave an appointment with unanswered questions.

UofU Patient September 03, 2017

She is a great Doctor

UofU Patient August 28, 2017

Dr. Silver Listened to me. This is a big deal for me because many care providers I have been to do Not! He made me feel comfortable and confident that I could do this pregnancy and have the outcomes I wanted. He was respectful. Very Pleased with him :)

UofU Patient August 22, 2017

Dr. Silver did not rush through the appointment and answered my questions, but at times felt a bit dismissive of my concerns. His words were sympathetic, but I did not leave the appointment feeling like I know what to do.

UofU Patient August 05, 2017

:-)

UofU Patient June 02, 2017

Although we waited to see the doctor, he gave us all the time we needed during his visit with us. He spent about 30 minutes with us explaining things, answering questions, and reassuring us. We never felt that he was rushed (although I'm sure he was, as most doctors are). It was a very nice visit and worth the wait.

UofU Patient April 13, 2017

dr Silver is hands down amazing

UofU Patient April 11, 2017

I am upset that my doctor will be out of town for 3 weeks during the time I am due and never told me. I didn't find out until I went to schedule my weekly appts with him and was informed by the receptionist that he wasn't in the office for 3 weeks.

UofU Patient March 27, 2017

I have had 2 Second trimester losses. I was scared and somewhat without hope. I am pregnant and have Dr Silver as my provider. He has provided me with a plan. I love coming to see Dr Silver. He makes me feel safe, cared for, and in excellent hands. I look forward to my appointments with him and his team. Thank you for taking such incredible care of me. _____

UofU Patient January 24, 2017

love the Dr's, not super impressed with the midwife.

UofU Patient January 13, 2017

Dr Silver is very knowledgeable, and will answer questions that I ask. Ours is a low risk pregnancy, so the staff are fairly mellow when it comes to our appointments, but sometimes it would be helpful if they provided more information on the baby's progress beyond what I specifically ask about. I understand to them as "low risk" we are boring and good, but for us this is still our first pregnancy and unsure about things.

UofU Patient January 10, 2017

Dr Silver spent a good amount of time talking to me about risks associated with a VBAC and specifically related to my case and previous history.

UofU Patient December 30, 2016

jasmin was very thorough and knowledgeable. she answered all of our questions and was very patient with us.

UofU Patient December 29, 2016

jasmin was very helpful and didn't mind spending extra time discussing my concerns and questions. she and Sam are amazing.

UofU Patient November 21, 2016

I feel safe and non stress when I leave the office

UofU Patient November 13, 2016

All in all my visit was a huge relief after I felt like a huge weight was lifted I felt less stress and a whole lot better about my pregnancy

UofU Patient November 13, 2016

Thank you SO MUCH Dr. Silver!!!

UofU Patient November 10, 2016

I expect a provider to spend 5-10 minutes with me, especially after my total waiting time from start of ultrasound to being checked in to an exam room was 2.5 hours. Dr. Silver popped in to say hello, said things were looking good, didn't sit down and left the exam room. Total time spent was less than 2 minutes.

UofU Patient November 01, 2016

Dr. Silver has been an asset to us during our complicated pregnancy and the birth of our baby, we will miss coming to the office for treatment!

UofU Patient October 29, 2016

The med student was very thorough and gave very good explanations and answers to our questions. The doctor then came in and followed up which was nice. It would be nice to spend more face to face time with the doctor, though, since the midwives won't be present for when the baby is born.

UofU Patient October 26, 2016

He was very nice but as is fairly typical of most doctors that I see his knowledge of dwarfism do not exceed mine so there really wasn't anything new for him to add except to make a notation in my chart that I had seen him so that I could move forward with my other medical plans/appointments.

UofU Patient October 12, 2016

It was a little vague as to what our next steps would be in assessing my condition; Dr. Silver also made a tongue-and-cheek remark about something we wanted to incorporate into our birthing plan...it didn't ruffle my feathers much but I could see that somebody would get annoyed/offended over a reaction like that.

UofU Patient September 06, 2016

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Silver. He was more knowledgeable and useful to me than many other doctors that I have used at other facilities. So much so that I am considering changing doctors and facilities for other areas of care to the University of Utah.

UofU Patient July 12, 2016

Sam is fantastic. She's very calm, logical and empathetic.

UofU Patient June 14, 2016

Dr. Silver definitely understood and addressed my concerns

UofU Patient May 10, 2016

I absolutely love Dr. Silver! I won't see else. He's extremely kind and helpful! I love how knowledgeable he is!

UofU Patient April 16, 2016

Dr. Silver didn't spend too much time with us at our appointment, but there were no real pressing concerns.

UofU Patient March 28, 2016

Dr. Silver is absolutely amazing! I can't imagine getting through this without his support and encouragement.

UofU Patient February 17, 2016

Besides the wait time everyone made me feel relaxed and welcome

UofU Patient November 28, 2015

I really appreciated how Dr. Silver didn't seem in a hurry at all to talk with us about our concerns for a VBAC. That meant a lot to me, as did his thorough understanding and explanations about what is medically necessary for a birth.

UofU Patient October 16, 2015

The physician student was very kind. Dr. Silver is amazing. He always addresses my concerns and never makes me feel rushed. I feel like he is very knowledgable and trustworthy.

UofU Patient September 09, 2015

this is the 7th dr we have seen in 2 years and finally feel like someone is trying to proactively find answers and taking an interest in our long term goals. excited about the future again!

UofU Patient September 05, 2015

I recommended this office right away to another friend who is pregnant and looking for a new doctor.

UofU Patient August 25, 2015

This was my post partum visit, so the last of many visits to this office. I can't say enough wonderful things about everyone in this office. The receptionists are great, the nurses and assistants friendly and helpful. Ultrasound techs fantastic. Dr. Silver and the midwives in his office are outstanding. All of them. I never felt rushed, never felt like I had a silly question, always left the visit with my worries put to ease. Most of our visits were with Sandra (Sam) Whitney. Sam is a phenomenal caretaker; her knowledge and expertise helped lead to a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby boy for us and a healthy daughter 2.5 years ago. We will always be grateful to her and everyone in this office for helping to bring us a healthy family. We joke that we will have another baby just so we can see them all again. Will recommend this office whenever we get the chance.

UofU Patient August 15, 2015

I really wanted to talk with Dr. Silver about my VBAC turning into a repeat c-section. He was seemed very unwilling to talk about and didn't seem to care like he did during my pregnancy.I felt as though it was a hurry up I'm done seeing and caring for her now. to some women who attempt a VBAC and are unsuccessful it is very difficult to handle and their provider can be a huge support in helping them go through the emotions. I loved Dr. Silver up until this last appointment. now I'm unsure if he really cares or is just a used car salesman.

UofU Patient August 12, 2015

So glad I switched to here! I feel much more confident in the care I am receiving.

UofU Patient July 24, 2015

we really liked Dr. Silver. despite his schedule being packed, I felt like he spent a lot of time going over our options and discussing risks and benefits. I felt like he was also advocating for me.

UofU Patient July 21, 2015

Sam and Dr. Silver make a great team.

UofU Patient June 24, 2015

Dr. Silver spent so much more time with us than I expected. He was very thorough, kind, knowledgable, and informative.

UofU Patient March 23, 2015

Universally, something I feel almost all doctors have a problem with is LISTENING to their patients. I respect a Doctor's years of schooling to learn how to do their field of expertise, but I personally know my own body better than anyone else. Sometimes I feel like doctors fail to listen to their patients because of their knowledge. Twice now with this pregnancy I have tried to tell my doctor something I needed, and they failed to listen to me, and two weeks later they finally gave me what I had previously requested. Once was after a visit to an ER facility when an over-phone prescription could have taken care of the problem. Though I knew what my problem was, the doctor refused to give me what I needed without coming in. I was too sick to come in, and wound up in the ER that night. This wasted time and money. So I just wish doctors would take more stock in listening to me when I say my body is in need of somthing, rather than waiting for the problem to worsen before they treat it.

UofU Patient March 18, 2015

was better than I ever expected. I feel lucky to be his patient!

UofU Patient February 24, 2015

they were all understanding and answered all concerns.

UofU Patient November 22, 2014

My husband and I absolutely appreciated the time Dr. Silver took with us. He immediately set my mind at ease. My husband couldn't stop talking about the excellent care to our friends.

UofU Patient November 03, 2014

Dr. Silver is always in and out pretty quick, but that's probably just because I usually haven't had many issues or questions I need to bring up. He's always seemed interested in my care and has been extremely calm and flexible with my needs. It's been really refreshing (many doctors, particularly in OB, aren't like that).

UofU Patient October 28, 2014

Dr. Silver was very sensitive to our situation and was able to provide us with good information as well.

UofU Patient September 10, 2014

Dr. Silver is great at explaining his thoughts and also about easing our worries. We have been really happy to be under his care.

UofU Patient September 01, 2014

I did not feel that he took my concerns seriously. I have done tons of research, and he didn't even ask what I knew already and put no stock in any of it. I have friends who have had multiple miscarriages due to this issue - because dr.'s didn't look at them as individuals that might be negatively affected. Very disappointing.

UofU Patient July 04, 2014

very very helpful, great follow-up. honest and straightforward about opinion/ recommendations

UofU Patient May 12, 2014

We were so impressed! we really trust this team!

UofU Patient January 10, 2014

Dr. Silver was very informative, friendly, helpful, and really spent the time to make sure I had all my questions answered.

UofU Patient December 20, 2013

Maybe next time provide wrtten instructions on what is expected for glucose tolerance test. Was I to be NPO not NPO not very clear.

UofU Patient December 13, 2013

Dr. Silver is very smart. Great doctor!

UofU Patient November 22, 2013

Sam & Dr. Silver are the best! They both know their stuff & I love how laid back they are

UofU Patient November 18, 2013

Still will never see anyone besides Dr. Silver! He's the best of the best.

UofU Patient November 15, 2013

I didn't get the chance to thank Sam afterward, but she was very present with my concern for this baby after my previous miscarriage. I could tell she wanted to be able to quickly offer me the reassurance that I needed, and I truly appreciate it. Dr. Silver was fantastic as always. It is so nice to feel like a person, and to have my questions validated. He makes me feel very comfortable with my questions and concerns, and always gives me thorough answers, even answering questions that i didn't know I had.

UofU Patient November 11, 2013

I was told that the TDaP shot is NOW recommended on pregnant women and that I will be receiving it on my next appointment. I didn't like the fact that I wasn't ask if I wanted it or not. I've done my research on the matter before the event and chose not to have this vaccine while pregnant. Let the patients know that they have a choice.

UofU Patient September 03, 2013

Provider did not review with me verbally of the medications I was taking were safe during pregnancy, I would have liked to reviewed that. Even if they did review them, I would have liked for them to say they were ok/not ok rather than me going home and having to look them up.

UofU Patient August 29, 2013

We love Dr. Silver - no question is dumb with him - Thanks!

UofU Patient August 19, 2013

I already have recommended this team to several friends.

UofU Patient August 05, 2013

I will be using a home birth midwife. However, if I experience any complications this would be my first choice to come back to.

UofU Patient May 29, 2013

I always feel comfortable with Dr. Silver. I've seen him for this pregnancy and my previouse one, he is always so helpful and informative. I appreciate that his main focus is on positive things about my pregnancy. I trust his information and appreciate the great care he provides for me and my family.

UofU Patient May 21, 2013

As stated, Dr. Silver is the only one I will see. He truly cares about me and my situation and I completely trust and respect him. I also adore Rita- she knows who I am and is very good to me and patient and knowledgeable through all of my questions.

UofU Patient May 20, 2013

I always have a great visit with Dr. Silver.

UofU Patient May 13, 2013

We love Dr. Silver and Rita! We feel like VIP's with them & the office, MA staff.

UofU Patient April 22, 2013

no medications or follow up care

UofU Patient April 22, 2013

I spent most of my time with the midwife, Rita. It was my first time meeting her and Dr. Silver, and she was very sweet. She had a very calming presence and spoke in a soothing tone. She was good about answering any questions and providing a lot of information up front so a lot of questions I had were answered before I even had to ask them.

UofU Patient March 01, 2013

I met mainly with the nurse practitioner, she asked all the questions and answered all my questions. I just wish I could have talked more with the doctor about my concerns with out having to repeat myself. I expected to meet more we with the doctor not the nurse practitioner.

UofU Patient January 28, 2013

I just love the Nurse Midwife - she does her job very well. Dr. Silver is fantastic too!

UofU Patient December 26, 2012

We love Dr. Silver. My husband is always leary of new Doctors but feel very comfortable with Dr. Silver - thank you!

UofU Patient December 11, 2012

As a first time, mother-to-be, I had a lot of questions and Dr. Silver never made me feel silly. He answered all my questions, as did the mid-wife, and all the while made me feel important.

UofU Patient December 03, 2012

I love meeting with Rita. She is so awesome. I really appreciate that she shows concern about what's going on with me and she is very easy to talk to.

UofU Patient November 19, 2012

Both the Doctor and the Mid-Wife were awesome, Caring and very willing to answer all of our questions. This is our first, so we kept them really busy with questions and we did not feel rushed at all.

UofU Patient November 19, 2012

We were very pleased with our meeting with dr silver! He explained everything so well and answered all of our questions and then some.

UofU Patient October 16, 2012

Dr. Silver is very thorough and thoughtful with his explanation of treatment for me. He knows that I can be a worried patient and he takes his time to help settle my nerves. I also had a great experience with Sam, the midwife. She is very caring and takes her time with me. I love them both!

UofU Patient October 02, 2012

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Silver and Rita Paegle! They are so smart, kind and fun to talk to. I receive excellent care every time I am there.

UofU Patient September 27, 2012

Dr. Silver has an amazing way of communicating with me. He always addresses my concerns, and doesn't make me feel rushed. He even anticipates concerns that I may have and answers questions that I didn't even know I had yet. He is very kind and caring. This visit his expertise and kindness really came into play.

UofU Patient September 05, 2012

I felt that Dr Silver was condescending and surprisingly unsympathetic about my previous losses and reasons for seeking the appointment. I felt he was dismissive of my concerns and impatient with my questions.

Doctor Silver was very knowledgeable. We will recommend him to anyone we come in contact with.

I found Dr. Silver to be very logical, and I like that in doctors. I liked that he took my concerns and let me know what he thought about my treatments, but also let me have time to make my own decisions. I don't usually go by first impressions alone when it comes to my care, so we will see how things go from now on! So far, I really like him and the staff.

My father came with me to my appointment and he is extremely good at asking the right questions and getting everything out of an appointment that he can. Had he not been with me, I'm not convinced that Dr. Silver would have spent nearly as much time with me or explained as much as he did.

I have had a very good experience with Sam and Dr. Silver for many years. They are caring and competent and give me excellent care.

I don't know that I would recommend this care provider only because from my one visit being so short, it's difficult to make any conclusive expectations about him.

They all sat down in the chairs to speak with me and my family.

I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Silver was willing to spend as much time with us as he did. I figured he'd be uninterested in answering simple questions about foods and medicines. But he welcomed all questions. I was also very pleased that he didn't talk down to me or treat me as though I were less than educable. I was VERY happy to learn he had a great sense of humor. Stuffy doctors don't put anyone at ease.
