Jeffrey Barratt, MD, MS, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree at George Washington University and his master's degree at New York Medical College. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals and stayed at the University of Utah School of Medicine to complete a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. During his last year of training, he served as chief fellow for the child and adolescent psychiatry program. He works as an inpatient child and adolescent attending psychiatrist at the University's Huntsman Mental Health Institute and is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Barratt is interested in inpatient treatment, medical trainee education, physician resilience, and research related to the relationship between organized sport participation and mental health.
