Mary Burris, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), received her medical degree from the University of Nevada, School of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency and Child/Adolescent Fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine. During Fellowship, she served as Chief Resident. She is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. Prior to joining the psychiatry faculty, she worked as the Psychiatrist on the latency unit at the Utah State Hospital. Dr. Burris has academic interests in PTSD, Reactive Attachment, and Autism. Since July 2017, she has served as Associate Residency Training Director for the Adult Psychiatry program.
