Ryan O. Cephas, MD

Ryan Cephas, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at Howard University Hospital and Affiliated Hospitals and completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Cephas is interested in inpatient treatment, access to care for underserved communities, physician resilience, and research in mental health in the classroom. He works as an inpatient child and adolescent attending psychiatrist at the University's Huntsman Mental Health Institute and is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
