    Dr. Gociman earned his MD degree from University of Medicine Carol Davila in Romania and his PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Utah. He completed his internship in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic and formal residency training in General Surgery at the University of Toledo. Subsequently, he returned to the University of Utah and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and his fellowship in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery. He is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah.

    Dr. Gociman has exceptional skills in testing and diagnosing efficiently! He shows true empathy for his clients and family members. I watched him soothe a pre-school aged child who was scared of stepping on a scale to be weighed, Dr. Gociman stepped in to help waylay this child's fears.
