Brittany Ellen Masterson's a great APRN and every four months when we meet she treats me like her friend: " [NAME REMOVED], drink more water. [NAME REMOVED] take your pills. [NAME REMOVED] get up off the couch and walk your home treadmills." And when my blood is taken when I do all my labs, I know SHE WILL BE checking them...so the pokes don't hurt that bad! She is very soft spoken but hears everything that you need help with and doesn't miss a beat, I really have thought she was a great listener and problem solver since day 1, my 2nd kidney transplant was on [DATE REMOVED]. even after I arrived back to Montana she was my # problem solver. I really miss her.

She follows a routine each time we meet that keeps me calm and able to listen to her with full attention. I always know she will address my concerns at the end of her reports on my lab results and any changes to medication she wants me to make. She reminds me of tests and vaccines needing to be done. Brittany was punctual, friendly and carried the smile that it seems all U of U professional staff maintain. Truly, U of U easily replaces Disneyland as the happiest place on Earth. Everyone goes out of their way to include the patient in the conversation rather than dictating at the patient. She was meticulous in covering all lab tests (I review them as soon as they are posted). It is always a pleasure interacting with the staff regarding my post-transplant lab results and plans.
