She cancelled my old medication without letting me know so I made an unnecessary trip to pharmacy that evening and left empty handed because not only was my prior med not there, but the newly prescribed med was called into a pharmacy that does not deliver that medication. I was unable to contact anyone within the providers office for 2 days (I left 2 messages with staff from a call center) and was therefore missed 3 doses of medication. I am a bit uneasy continuing care here because I felt like I was left out of the loop on what was going on and no one would call me back.

She was basically reading my chart to me out loud to familiarize herself with the case and asking me what had happened. I was told in my prior visit to do another sleep test and then come back and see her. On this call she asked why I had not been using a CPAP when she had told me to wait to get a CPAP. So she was not consistent.

After the appointment and subsequent sleep study, I was given limited feedback about my testing results, no explanation or q&a about treatment plan, and constant pushback from her office about follow-up appointments. I left this follow-up appointment with what feel like no viable options for continued treatment. This provider and office may be a good option for some, but definitely WOULD NOT recommend based on my experience.

SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERThis is one of the worst providers that I have ever gone to. I will not be back. My comments were not heard or respected. I was not involved in decisions about my care. She messed up some of my medications in my chart. It was a very frustrating visit. I was referred by the Long Covid clinic and she knew nothing about long Covid either. The only nice thing that I appreciated about this doctor was when she saw I was wearing a mask, she asked if I would like her to wear one. When I said yes, she got one and put it on.
SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERCristine may be very good, but during my "evaluation" I felt like her goal was to determine if I have sleep apnea and not to determine why I'm having difficulty sleeping. She did not discuss any of the information in the lengthy questionnaire I'd filled out pre-visit. I understand it will be > 6 months before I can see a sleep psychologist. That's a long time to think about having sleeping difficulties that go unevaluated.

I had no idea concerning the changes until I called Lincare. As a result of the changes, I missed a lot of sleep. I was frequently awakened by the force from the higher pressures almost every night. The noise woke up my wife, as well. I ultimately went went back to my old machine. I am not sure whether Christine made that change independently or if Dr. Markowittz made that call. Either way, I was disappointed that a change was made without me knowing about the change.

SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERAfter I told her that I hadn't read anything in my advance clinic note about the need to bring my CPAP to this session, which I thought would focus on the data sent in by my machine, I felt as though Ms. Tuttle was annoyed for the rest of the session. I thought I done well with my first CPAP experience but I felt she was critical of my ability to discern leakage and that I must not be wearing it correctly. She talked fast, while typing and looking at her screen, and I completely missed her saying that she wanted me to do an "overnight oximetry" until her assistant came into schedule it. When I said that term was foreign to me, the assistant got Ms. Tuttle who again seemed annoyed as if I'd not been listening to what she was saying. I consider myself a good listener and this bothered me.

My partner and I drove eight hours round trip from Nevada for both visits and are greatly disappointed with the care I received. I will be cancelling my follow up appointment.

It would either make sense to insure this is reviewed prior to the appointment or just build it in to the appointment. Due to the distance between us (about 250 miles), she suggested that it be performed at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital here in Elko and the results be forwarded to her. Thank you!

SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTERI have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and have been using a CPAP for about three years. Cristine Tuttle became involved about a year ago when I was referred to her by my PCP in response to some questions I had. My situation is not typical in that it appears I may have Central Sleep Apnea in addition to Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Cristine was the first person to determine this. The issue is compounded by the fact that the device commonly used for patients with Central Sleep Apnea is not recommended for use with patients who are in heart failure, which I am and which was confirmed by Cristine who requested a copy of my most recent Echo. Cristine has requested additional tests to determine the best treatment for me. I am impressed that she is so diligent and am very confident in her management of my situation.
