Dr. Tuncer was my plastics surgeon for a lumpectomy/reduction for breast cancer. She was personable, very good at describing the procedures, and assuring me that these were routine procedures for her team. I had never had surgery before so had a lot of anxiety around it. She was clear that recovery can vary significantly between people, but her guidance to increase protein intake and continue exercising for improved recovery helped me tremendously. I would highly recommend Dr. Tuncer and her team!

My experience at with Huntsman has been extremely disappointing. I am happy to discuss this matter further. That said, for now Dr. Tuncer. Dr. Tuncer Is anything but disappointing. She is professional, engaging, concerned about my emergency narrative, thus comforting. Quite simply, she has a real Ethic of Care, despite Covid, despite staff shortages and other challenge that doctors now meet. I no longer dread returning to Huntsman.

Dr. Tuncer is very skillful. I was able to watch the ultrasound screen as she drained two lymph fluid collections as she held the ultrasound transmitter/sensor in one hand and the needle as her nurse/assistant provided suction by pulling on a syringe connected to the needle through a tube. It was amazing how accurately she placed and controlled the needle - you could see it enter just a little ways into the fluid and watch the seroma cross-sections as fluid was removed, causing them to shrink to almost nothing!
On earlier visits we had some difficulty with understanding what the doctor was proposing but we since have that straightened out and things are good.
