Janesa Porter, CPNP, DNP

Janesa Porter is a doctorate-prepared, acute care and primary care certified, pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in caring for children from birth to early adulthood. She has been in the field of medicine for the past decade, with experience working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Same Day Surgery and Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and general pediatrics as a registered nurse, and has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the pediatric emergency department since 2022! Her interests include providing care for pediatric patients who are experiencing acute injuries and illnesses while providing preventative care and anticipatory guidance. She is also passionate about working with children who are systematically marginalized and understanding the social determinants of health of her patients and their families.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two sons, and dog. They love getting outdoors, going to movies, and playing board games.
