UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICS

To state that Dr Glotzbach is amazing is a very modest description. I've worked with CT surgeons the majority of my career. The more refined or focused a professional hones his (or her) skills, the less time he/she has to keep in touch with the "normal " world. They tend to loose some of their social/people skills. Dr Glotzbach is one of those rare brainiacs that has managed to remember to make room for his heart while climbing to the top. I am definitely a fan.

UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICS

During routine screening for some elective surgery I was found to have a congenital heart defect that would have been fatal if it had not been caught. I was unconvinced, asymptomatic and very hesitant to proceed. Dr G's office is over 300mi. from my home, so he coordinated local care and we met viirtually to review testing. By the time surgery happened, I was completely comfortable with both him and his team. Five other board certified cardiac surgeons had never seen this surgery done on an adult. I don't know that I would have had the courage to go forward with this surgery without finding such an experienced, innovative, doctor. He and his staff were at my bedside at least once a day. They were never in a rush. My prognosis now is to go forward in life without the need for more surgery. I'm very grateful for Dr. G and his team. The CVMU nursing team was brilliant! UofU was incredible. The flexibility in my treatment plan and Dr. G's approachable demeanor made the difference in my care
