HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTEROn this visit, I did not see Dr. Agarwal, but saw Dr. Osborne his associate instead. She was amazing! She did reassure me, though that Dr. Agarwal would be doing the surgical procedure.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI feel I'm in good hands
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is a very intelligent and empathetic surgeon. He has some of the best bedside manners I've known. He knows how to talk to his patients to make them feel comfortable and he takes time to listen and answer questions with confidence. Thank you Doctor Agarwal for being my reconstruction surgeon since 2013.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI appreciate Dr. Agarwal's kind and caring demeanor. His explanations were clear and easy to understand.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERExcelent
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal was excellent. Very thorough, kind, caring, professional. His Fellow, Greg and Irfan were excellent as well, as they discussed my case with me and explained my surgery so I could understand what to expect.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERvery good in the explanation to my spouse on the wrapping of my leg to keep from getting infection
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI thought Dr Agerwall was very professional and obviously very intelligent. But I ended up choosing a surgeon who showed more warmth in our consolation. I didn't feel like I could trust Dr. Agerwall.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is the best! 2nd to none!
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERwas a cancer patient in 2013 & had such a positive experience with everyone at Huntsman. I was dreading my return because I knew the emotions I would have returning. As soon as I saw Dr. Agarwal I was calm and relaxed, remembering how sincere and caring he was. It was so great to see him again, that I had to give him a hug. Although he has had hundreds of patients come through his doors, I knew that he had remembered who I was, with his bedside manners and thoughtful smile. He made me feel at home and my worries started to subside. The other staff members who helped me were so kind at as well and made me feel like their family with how caring and gentle manners they had. I would like to thank everyone for all the support and making me feel content in my decision to have my breast implant removed and new surgery to create a more comfortable and healthier breast. I sit hear in tears because my heart is full of emotions from 2013 and the blessings that have come my way since. Thank you al
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is very clear with all his communication, explaining in an understandable way. He listens, answers questions & is compassionate & caring.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERBest care I've ever had I come all the way from Boise for the care I wouldn't go anywhere else
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERAmazing Team from start to finish
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERit is not about just one careprovider it is all about a greatteam working together here at the huntsman.there is no loss of information between day and night shift nurses.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI felt comfortable and confident in the doctor and in his team.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is a top notch physician/surgeon. I write that because he listens and responds thoughtfully to my concerns during office visits and his surgical care has been tremendous. I can't thank Dr. Agarwal and his team enough for the exceptional care provided to me over the past fourteen months. I have felt very well cared for. Many thanks!
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal and his medical team are outstanding. I am grateful to receive such excellent care.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe rest of the staff was great but the doctor was dismissive and condescending at best and verging on outright rude.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agerwahl is compassionate, kind and very knowledgeable physician. I appreciate his council and kindness.
UH HOSPITALS AND CLINICSDr Jayant is a great professional and care about my health. He did an excellent job with my hand.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI've already recommended Dr. Jay Aggarwal's team on the mastectomy reconstruction facebook page
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe care was clear, precise and understandable. Answered my questions and helped me understand what procedures I might need.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI like Dr Aggerwall very much. He is thorough, listen to my concern, and seems genuinely concerned for me.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI love Dr. Agarwal's staff and resident. They listen, are concerned and personable. They discuss my concerns and options in detail, provide the information I request, and make the visit very pleasant. I like Dr. Agarwal as a person. I have no doubt that he is very smart and capable, but he has not done as good a job with listening to and addressing concerns or providing adequate detail about my treatment. In fact, he has seemed downright dismissive of concerns I bring up; a pain here or there, something seeming out of place. Maybe I'm a rare patient, but I am an observant and analytical person. I want details, and I want choice. I want to see the expanders and implants that will be put into my body. I want to see before and after pictures. I want to know the treatment plan and goals are, including what the intended size is for me in cc's and other precise measures; not a comment of "you're still pretty flat," as the doctor leaves the room and provides no avenue for discussion. If I knew what the goal was, I might not be so concerned that we will bypass it. In my case, knowledge is comfort. I understand that Dr. Agarwal is extremely busy, and there are more complicated cases than mine, but I find it surprising that I have had to go out of my way to ask for any of the above mentioned information, and it hasn't been provided spontaneously. And by the way, most of the information has been provided by his staff, and not come directly from the doctor. In my experience at Huntsman, every other doctor who has treated me has gone out of their way to make me feel in the loop and part of the discussion concerning my treatment. Largely, I do not feel this with Dr. Agarwal.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERgood experience
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERamazing team I travel from Boise ID to Utah because the level of care is amazing
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal is an outstanding surgeon.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal is an extremely qualified surgeon. My only negative comment would be that the degree and extent of recovery time was very understated which created quite a bit of inconvenience that could have been overcome in a much easier manner had we known in advance how challenging it would be.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is truly a kind, caring surgeon who does amazing work.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal is a genuine and straight forward doctor. I feel so comfortable and confident with him. I'm very grateful that he did my surgery.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERVery good
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal has a great "bedside manner", as they say. I keep replaying his positive affirmations in my head to wrap my head around what is ahead.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe on call doctor was very kind and thorough
Huntsman Cancer InstituteSaw both Dr. Evelyn Reid & Dr. Jayant Agarwal. Both are excellent.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI realized after I left I could have had my expanders adjusted to make my breasts even I wish they would have offered me this
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERAll my questions were addressed fully, patiently, and with full disclosure to any outcomes I could expect. I felt confident about the procedure when I left.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is kind, listens to my concerns, and works with me to create a plan of care. I really appreciate him.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe way I was treated here was amazing. Appointments like these are always awkward for me but I didn't feel awkward and made to feel safe.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI have never had a team like this include me in the conversation.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERAll of my questions were answered well. I feel very cared for and supported.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI am pleased and confident with Dr. Agarwal
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERvery good
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERWithin 2 minutes of introductions, you could tell that Dr.Agarwal truly cared about my plight. Too many Dr.'s with half of his intellect are condescending and talk down to their patients, but not Agarwal. Amazingly easy to talk to, even answering my mom's questions in a calm, thorough way, and he treated everyone with a respect that someone can't learn or be taught. It is genuine. I am a completely anxious head case waiting for this big surgery, but there is Noone I would rather trust with my anesthesia filled life that 7 hours than Dr. Agarwal. He is a privilege to have leading the way to reuse of my hand, as was meeting him. I've never taken the time to write a review for anyone before, so the fact you are even reading this tells you how blown away I am!
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERExcellent physician I would highly recommend
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal is very attentive and reassuring and listens to patients' concerns and offers appropriate solutions, going over and explaining the different treatment options so patients can make informed decisions.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal was not only thorough and professional he was kind and understanding. He answered all of my questions patiently and clearly. I felt confident in his medical care.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal listened carefully to my concerns, asked clarifying questions & gave his opinion on a plan forward. He has a gentle way of communicating that was appreciated.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERvery good
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI am so impressed with Dr. Agarwal's great work on my surgery and my flap. I had so many people rave about how great my flap always looked... From many other health professionals to family and friends! He seemed to do very careful and conscious work of which I am so grateful!!... For something that will affect my body and life to such a degree, I really appreciate his careful care.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is fantastic. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and he has a very calming demeanor that I find extremely helpful. I have always felt very comfortable in his presence and well informed. I am truly grateful to Dr. Agarwal, and all of his staff, for helping me through this life and body transition. 10/10 Recommend
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI didn't feel like he heard anything I was saying. I felt vulnerable standing semi clad in front of so many people, which no one explained to me beforehand, and he questioned everything I said making me feel defensive, and ended by saying I'd need a note from my doctor. I wanted smaller implants, and rather than discussing options, he dismissed that and said the size was fine. I waited a long time to see him, drove a long way and I was so excited to see the doctor. The doctor from Indiana at least listened. I felt Dr Argarwal was busy and dismissive. He said I could get dressed, left and I stood in the room a while until I caught a passing nurse and asked if we were done.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe doctor was great. I met him years ago and even told my sister in law about him. He will be doing her DIEP in January. The resident made me feel so awkward and having 3 people standing there looking at my body it was uncomfortable and I left without even talking about all of my reconstructive concerns. The lady that does his scheduleing was very pleasant. I just wish I could have talked with the Dr. without such an audience.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is very kind and patient, always answer all my questions
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERthe only reason I keep coming back is because I really appreciate the care and expertise of Dr. Agarwal.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERHe is very attentive and sincere regarding attending to and resolving your health concerns. He makes you very comfortable and is easy and pleasant to talk to,
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal is just wonderful! He was so kind, thorough & took his time explaining all of my surgical options to me & answering all of my questions.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERThe resident met with us for most of the appointment as Dr. Agarwal was delayed over an hour. The resident was great very informative and positive. Dr. Agarwal made me feel like an inconvenience. I know that I did not receive the news that I wanted, but I still felt bad like he had been sent a bad referral. I still feel bad for wasting his time.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERI had two procedures done by Dr. Agarwal and his team: placement of tissue expanders after total mastectomy, then DIEP flap reconstruction. Very nice, clean work and excellent care and follow-up, both times. Would recommend him to any patient going through these treatments.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERPleasant, competent care
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERHe cares about his patients & understands that a woman at any age desires to feel whole again. He explains the procedure thoroughly & does not suger coat that it's not going to be uncomfortable. His empathy is comforting & a sigh of relief
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal and his resident were excellent!
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is amazing. He is honest and gives it to you straight but has he is kind and listens to all my concerns. When choosing a plastic surgeon for my reconstruction I did a lot of research. Dr. A. has exceeded my expectations. I'm truly grateful. When you get to this point in your cancer treatment your mind seems to catch up with your entire experience. In many ways this part has been the most difficult and having this team has made the whole process much easier and has helped with the healing process. Your body is healing but so is your mind and the way you see yourself in your body... When your doctor sees YOU as an individual it makes a difference.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERGreat doctor
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERVery good thanks
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERHe wanted no part of my treatment it was wasted visit on which I took time off work for and spent the night to make appt in timely manner since I live in Idaho
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal is excellent with taking time to talk to me and explain things very thoroughly.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr Agarwal and his resident Dr. Kate are beyond amazing. They both have the best bed side manner. they are sort kind. They make sure I feel confident in what's going on. They are just both do kind and always helps me relax and feel very confident that no matter what set backs we have they will get this fixed. Thank you so much Dr. Agarwal and to all of your amazing staff.
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERHes a good guy! No one apologized for my hour wait. He should call patients by name at least once during the visit!
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERCaring and professional
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERgave me hope
HUNTSMAN CANCER CENTERDr. Agarwal did a great job of carefully explaining to us what would happen and why. He answered all our questions, and we were able to go away having a lot of confidence in him and his team.
