I have two cochlear implants. I am having some issues with the MedEl hearing aids. Kathy works extremely hard to sort out the issues. We are making progress, but I must admit I am disappointed with the hearing aids themselves not with what Kathy has been able to accomplish.
Very thoughtful and thorough. She's a keeper in my opinion and Don's too. I hope Cochlear and she will come to West Valley whenever the hospital is finished. Happy Holidays to all the staff at U of U Audiology Department.

Kate is highly skilled in the CI implant process and the devices-I have worked with many audiologists in the past but feel Kate really listens and is very positive
Kate did a very through job of testing both ears (cochlear and conventional hearing aid ear). She was up front with me and explained clearly why I can't hear well with my left hearing aid. She tweaked my cochlear. Too soon to see if it made any difference.

The only issue is appoints are booked far in advance and audiology adjustments that appear ok in the office may require adjustment when the real world is encountered. Timely follow up appointments are critical for the benefit of patient understanding..
