She seemed to be in a hurry and gave the impression that my issue wasn't of great concern, almost like "why are you here?". If she said her name, rank and serial number type of info it didn't come through. I would recommend that with old people, like me, she should speak more slowly with clear elocution and appear to be interested in the patient rather the appearance of being in a hurry to get out. Explain who she is in the dept and in relation to her Resident. Is she the Director of the Residency Program? etc.

Katie is a caring and competent doctor. We get along great, she isn't pushy about her suggestions and tries to get me to try new things kindly. My only complaint is I waited for an hour from the time I arrived and was put in a room until I was seen by her. Seems like an excessive waiting period if I was on time.

Dr. Kaput is a fantastic clinician and patient advocate. She explained everything about my disease in language that I could understand and has helped me gain the knowledge I need to bring my A1C from a 16.8 to a 7.1 in a very short amount of time. She is caring, patient and has great bedside manner. I love the professionalism and guidance that she exhibits in her practice. I would recommend Dr. Kaput to anyone who is having issues due to diabetes because she can help guide them in making better choices that will help them understand their body and become healthier.

Dr. Kaput is an awesome endocrinologist. She was the one that got my diabetes under control after I had already seen another endocrinologist and my personal care provider. Dr. Kaput knowledge is outstanding. Been a patient of hers for 8+ years.
Katie Kaput is very good with reading my Dexcom reports and numbers and she helps me adjust my insulin pump according to the Dexcom read outs. I have had several Endocrinologists in my lifetime of having Type 1 Diabetes and she is by far the best Dr in helping me keep my glucose numbers in range because she understands the insulin pump so well. She is also very good at helping me understand why she changes things and makes sure I know how to adjust settings if I need to on my own.
