As a previous chair and co-chair of the Burn Team's clinical practice council, she collaborated with interdisciplinary team members on various quality improvement projects to promote communication, education, and evidence-based protocols to improve patient care. She is a member of the American Burn Association and a candidate instructor for the Advanced Burn Life Support program.

    In 2019, nominated by her peers, she was awarded the "Most Valuable Player" in the Burn and Trauma Intensive Care Unit for her team dedication and passion for burn care.

    She is also heavily involved in planning and coordinating the annual Burn Camp 5K Fundraiser and Safety Fair event.

    Her goal is to provide burn survivors with compassionate, patient-centered care and to collaborate and support them as they achieve their health goals.

    In her spare time, Krystle enjoys spending time with family, hiking, doing yoga, painting, drawing, and listening to podcasts and music. She is a movie buff and enjoys a good flick!

    Krystle sees patients in the Burn Outpatient Clinic and the Burn Critical Care Unit.
