Michelanne Shields, MD

Dr. Shields is a fantastic resource and has answered all of my questions and provided the information I needed and more. She is both an excited and calming presence'her energy is exactly what I would want in an OB! I've been going to her for years and recommend her to friends constantly because I am such a fan.

An angel on earth- I hope all women get to experience a doctor like Michelanne. She did everything she could to make me feel better about the procedure i needed, talked me through it and gave me all the time I needed to calm my nerves. Couldn't thank her enough she is amazing.

Dr. Shields is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. She takes the time to truly listen and also to explain in terms that are understandable. The comfort and care of her patient comes first. Dr. Shields is an amazing physician and caregiver.

Dr. Shields was amazing! She's done so much for me in my first visit with her. She's encourage me to do what I think is best for me and she supported me because I voiced out all the negative effects on the Merina IUD I had. She sympathized with me and she was also great with my 3 year old while I had so much things done at our first visit. I definitely recommend her because she truly is one of the best I have met. I cannot express how great Dr. Shields was. With a complex history and prior loss I really needed someone to hold my hand through this pregnancy and she was so reassuring and supportive. She listened to me any validated my experience and assured me at any time I could come to her with any concerns. I already feel so much better and I have only met with her once. You can tell she is passionate about her work and I look forward to this journey with her support.

I uber respect Dr. Shields for going out of her way to be personable and make me feel comfortable. This was my first time back to a gynecologist in a long while, and she put me at ease. Dr. Shields is the best practitioner I have ever had. She listens and gives helpful information while supporting me in making decisions over my health care. She makes you feel like a priority and she never seems like she is in a rush or is trying to just get through the appointment. She also delivered my second child and her bedside manner in the delivery room gave me confidence and reassurance. Seriously best OBGYN Ive ever had!
