Michelanne Shields, MD

Dr. Michelanne Shields is an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Dartmouth College and her MD at Oregon Health and Science University. She completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at University of Utah where she fell in love with gynecologic surgery, labor and delivery, clinical medicine, and medical education. Dr. Shields is passionate about caring for all obstetrics and gynecology conditions and the care of patients at all phases of life, and is excited to build a busy clinical practice as a full scope generalist. She is thrilled to stay in Utah where she has an amazing community of mentors and friends who will not only help her continue to grow as a physician, but will also find time to ski powder, run up mountains, enjoy shows at Red Butte, and help her continue to grow as a human.
