Pharmacies & Prescription Refills
Pharmacies at University of Utah Health are located in specialty centers and neighborhood health centers across the Wasatch Front, providing services for prescriptions, prescription refills, and a wide variety of over-the-counter medications.
Our physicians can send your prescriptions directly to our pharmacists, saving time and the need to make another trip.
We also offer mail delivery for your prescriptions.

Mail Order Pharmacy
Manage and pay for prescriptions online. Free delivery included.
To Get Started
- Request your prescriptions using MyChart.
- Select "Deliver by mail" and choose Midvalley Pharmacy.
- Verify your current mailing address and payment information.
You can also call 844-635-5641 or 801-213-8650 to set up mail order services.
How Long Will It Take to Get Your Prescription?
We process and mail prescription refills within one business day of your request. If your prescription is out of refills, we will contact your doctor for a refill authorization and mail it as soon as possible.
Auto-Refills
Unfortunately, many insurance plans don’t allow pharmacies to mail automatic refills. For this reason, we can’t mail a prescription unless you ask us to mail it to you. Call or visit us online to request your refill.
Controlled Substances
We can mail controlled substances, but only in Utah. Controlled substances require a signature when they are delivered, so you will need to be home and sign for the packages.
We cannot mail Schedule II controlled substances (oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methylphenidate).
Outside Utah?
No problem! We are currently licensed to mail prescriptions to:
- Idaho,
- Nevada, and
- Wyoming.
We cannot mail controlled substances outside of Utah.
Update Your Address & Credit Card Information
Update your mailing address or credit card information when you request refills on MyChart. You can also call 844-635-5641.
Your credit card information is encrypted and securely stored. We can delete or update your credit card information anytime you ask.
