Spencer Thompson, DPT, NCS is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in patients with neurologic diagnoses and is the team lead for the outpatient amputation program. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006 and is also a graduate of the Utah Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program. He also is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy (NCS). Spencer works with all neurologic diagnoses- including stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. He also spends a lot of his work hours working with patients who have had a lower extremity amputation. He facilitates Sky’s the Limb-it – an amputee support group sponsored by the University of Utah.
Spencer enjoys running, exercising, being outdoors and spending time with his wife and kids. He gets a lot of satisfaction out of his job and really enjoys seeing his patients return to function again after their injuries.
