I had seen 2 other health care providers within the UofU system prior to this appointment with Victoria (NP). Victoria was the first provider that I felt like listened to my concerns and had actual information on what potentially was the problem and my options.

Victoria Serpico, NP, was referred to me by Dr. Rosenthal whom I had seen for several years until my insurance changed to SelectHealth and I could no longer see Dr. Rosenthal. With my new insurance I can see U of U physicians and NPs, etc. Ms. Serpico was very thorough and I was very happy with her explanations, care and plan for next steps. I would recommend her to my friends and family.

It's hard to feel like I can be honest knowing this will be the provider I see again however I left more confused than before I came. The provider was rude and cut me off. She was not at all sympathetic and made me feel horrible. We drove 6 hours to specialized care and I feel like I received nothing. I came home with no option for pain management except over-the-counter lidocaine patch that cannot be applied to my problem areas realistically. I have to also make another trip for a test I requested be done at the same time and have no follow up for three months.
